I was expecting a call from the Social Security department within 15 minutes due to an issue of my monthly benefit posted to my bank account. Instead, I received a recorded message stating it was Social Security and I must call 866-201-4917. I have received this prank call a number of times before and just ignored it.
let it go to voicemail. They left a message for me to call back to Social Security. deleted message and blocked number
Told me they were suspending my social security number. Asked me for my social security number to make sure it was me. What a joke.
