Leave a CommentI got an unsolicited call about two hours ago from a number (773) 765-3630 that registered as "Combined Insurance" on my caller ID.RED FLAG #1: The woman, Tina, who left a message on my answering ma****e, basically said she was responding to a resume I had left for the company she was representing. The problem? Tina did not say what company she was representing.RED FLAG #2: Tina said I had responded to an adverti*****t "in the paper." Not only did she not specify what newspaper it was, but I never mailed anyone any resumes in response to a newspaper ad.RED FLAG #3: Tina left me a toll free number, 1-866-209-7493, different from the one that showed up on my caller ID.After reading up on other people's experiences with Combined Insurance, I have determined that it is a complete sham. If you get an unsolicited call from this company, notify the FTC.
I got an email leaving this number.ACE is apparently an insurance company, while Tina's e-mail is from "combined" a subsidiary company.I don't trust it.
