We had a debt that was paid in full to the credit company on 12-15-2006. Quite mysteriously- on 3-4-08, we received a letter from ARS, advising that we now have an offer from ARS to use our INCOME TAX REFUND to settle the outstanding debt- and offered several ways to do this.  We have paperwork from the credit company, which confirms that the account was paid in full, but ARS is still refusing to accept it, and is continually calling us, and will not acknowledge receipt of the paperwork!  They still call several times a day!  We will be reporting as well.

these man keeps calling me from this number. i get a recording asking if this is so and so or so and so's spouse click this number and that. I called the number back because I didn't click any of the choices and ask them to take my name out of the system.; The man was rude and said Nooooooooo, its in our system and thats where it will stay, have a good day and ***g up. I called back and he was terrible rude. Told him a***n to take me off their calling list and he said well, just don't answer your phone. What???????? Told him I would call the telephone company and mad a nasty statement to me. I know this fool is going to call back,

i've gotten two calls from them in the past 6 hours.  i don't bother answering since i don't recognize the number.
