Leave a CommentI GOT THEM TO STOP CALLING!!! See my post of June 15I filed FTC, FCC, and Better Business Bureau complaints a***nst them (AIr Rescue Air Conditioning). The one that got them to stop calling -within a week- was the BBB complaint. Go to the BBB website, look at the Air Rescue company profile (easiest to search by this 866 phone number), and file a complaint, it works! And it's easy! On the complaint form, I demanded that Air Rescue stop calling and send written confirmation they would cease calling. The BBB sent me correspondence from Air Rescue indicating they will no longer call!The added bonus is any complaint to BBB affects the company's rating....
PLEASE FILE COMPLAINTS A***NST THEM!!! I checked out the Better Business Bureau site and confirmed this number belongs to Air Rescue Air Conditioning in Tampa, FL. Check out www.bbb.org/west-florida; they list their other numbers such as 888-638-3792 that has called me in the same manner as well. It took some time but I filed a BBB complaint on them, as well as a complaint with the US Do Not Call registry (www.donotcall/gov/complaint), The Federal Trade Commission (www.ftccompaintassistant.gov), and The Federal Communications Commission (fcc.gov). At least with the BBB complaint, the company will be contacted and asked to respond. I requested a letter from the company indicating they will no longer contact me. I will send them a registered letter demanding they cease calling if the BBB doesn't yield results. If they still call after that, I think they can be sued under the Do Not Call laws for, I believe, $5000, but I'm not posiive. I'm sick of their daily phone tactics and won't have any problem with a nice small claims case.
