Call from Manny Ortiz ....no identification of what this is about
Keep getting calls from 866-217-9080. Answered the call and they are collecting on a Sears bill from 25 years ago. I told them to send me proof of the debt - any information. They have not sent anything. I told them I am not aware of a Sears bill from 25 years ago. THey told me a could have forgotten that I owed. I will not be answering their calls anymore. Ah yes - I asked him how he got my cell number since I had just gotten it. He said they had a system that scans every public facility such as the Dept of Motor Vehicles, S.S. offices etc - and capture any numbers matched to my social. I had just c****ed my license plates and used my new number like a jack a**. Guess I'm chaning my number soon. lol
These idiots are "bottom feeders", that is, a collection agency that keeps trying to collect debts that CAN NOT be collected by law (statute of limitiations expired), but hope someone will pay anyway. They can't collect legally and they can't sue for collection. They are modern day gansters. Ignore them, do not return any call, do not respond to any mail!!!
