I WAS APPROACHED BY THIS COMPANY ALSO. I AM A SOLDIER PREPARING TO DEPLOY BACK TO IRAQ WITHIN 3 WEEKS SO AM ON A TIME CRUNCH. THE SALEMAN KEPT LOWERING THE PRICE TO MAKE IT MORE ATTRACTIVE. I ASKED THEM TO SCAN/FAX/MAIL ME A SAMPLE CONTACT SO THAT I (AND MY SON THE LAWYER) COULD READ IT AND SEE WHAT/HOW I WAS ACTUALLY COVERED BEFORE I DECIDED. TO THIS REQUEST I WAS GIVEN NOTHING BUT AN EXCUSE. WANTED ME TO MAKE A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY AND "GUARANTEED" I HAD 30-DAYS TO DECLINE THE COVERAGE IF I DIDN'T LIKE WHAT THE CONTRACT SAID. READING YOUR COMMENTS HAS REALLY CLINCHED MY DECISION NOT TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. THANKS TO ONE AND ALL....
How can we get out of these warranty companies wasting postage sending mailers to those that don't need auto warranties? Can we report them to the Federal Trade Commission? Any Ideas.share them please. I have a busy life and one of the items is that I don't have time for junk mail, but tired of seeing these notices being delivered into my mail box.
i called these folks and got annoyed at them cuz everytime I asked them questions they simply just got more pushy in trying to sell the service to me fast….i said "can you give me the service details and what’s covered to my personal email?" They said I’ll just tell you on phone and the lady is like just get the deal and all the info will be on the paperwork and if you don’t like it just cancel it within 30 days… so i told the person i was talking to that when i receive the email with what's covered then i can make the decision....i haven't received the email yet, i called yes****ay.......so i got curious of this place and searched online and ended up here.so basically by the info posted here it obviously looks like a scam and i truly appreciate all of you folks who replied here taking the time out of your schedule to do an honest and good deed.I think many of these posts go unappreciated in regards to so many scams or terrible service location / etc that's out there that normal people will just get used.thanks a***n
Scam scam scam stay away from these people and call your attorney general!!
I bought a warranty from these scam artists and tried to cancel because the sales guy told me just to pay the initial $150 and I could cancel when I get the paperwork. Didn't happen. It has been over 3 weeks and no refund yet. When I call they **** up on me. They told me it was the last time I could get the offer and the sales guy told was very rude. Their information:Direct Warranty Services or Motor Vehicle Solutions1278 Jungermann Rd. Ste. A1-866-238-6239
Motor Vehicle Solutions. I recieved a "final notice" from these people claiming to be part of the DMV. They sales guy wouldn't give me the address and danced around every question I asked. They tried to high pressure me into purchasing an extended warranty. Scam
