I have had at least 22 calls last week from this number.  When I finally answered wanted to know if I still had a Visa, Mastercard, Etc.  ***g Up.  I do not take any calls concerning my credit cards.  needs to be put to a halt.

I too have had these people call none stop. i think if anyone finds there adress let me know or just let it known here so me.. and anyone else who enjoys beating the living s**t out of them... can do so..sevral times they have called within TWO DAYS!honestly.... its time for some pay back..if they call s**** crying and ask for the police.. say your daughter is dying and you need help!and s**** screaming as if you where being cut into little chops...see what there reaction is..i think its EXTREAMLY FUNNY.

I'm so glad I am not the only one. I checked my phone today and saw 6 calls from this number. I had no idea what it could be about. I called back, wanting to know and they had me on hold forever saying they had a call for me and that I was the next person in line. I'm glad I looked it up and realized it was a scam. I wouldn't be surprised it if was just one person, the reason they don't pick up quickly. Thank you for all your other comments.

I, too, am receiving calls from 1-866-250-2640.  In fact, I've received 3 calls in one day.  If it weren't for this website and the people who've submitted comments, I would have answered the calls.  Thanks to all of you.

this number has popped up on my phone twice.  if i don't recognize a number i will not answer it.  if it's important or an emergency they will leave a message.

these a**holes called me 8 times already in 1 day, i found out there a magazine company trying to sell to anyone who has bought so****ing online w/a credit card! When you call back its just music.

I have been attacked by these people too I have asked them to stop calling they called back the next day.  They ask for someones name that doesnt even live at my house. My number is on the do not call list.  These people have sent me over the edge the last time they called I asked to talk to the supervisor to get to the bottom of this and the guy ***g up.  I think these guys could seriously get in trouble for this its pretty much harrassment.  I saw on the news 2 major companies were recently fined big time for violating the do not call list.  I would love to find out the name number and address for these people becuase I know an attny I think could help us.

Ive been receiving calls from this number for weeks!  Every time,  they keep calling for an Elgin Davis.  I have NEVER heard of this person.  Ive had my cellphone since Jan 2007.  Ive told these people countless times that they have the wrong number!  They keep calling.  Its really s****ing to **** me off.  There has to be a way to report them.

I called back last night... Got two people, Meg and Corey.  Just kept calling and not saying anything.  Really annoyed the***** out of them...  It was very gratifying...

I recieved the call from 1-866-250-2640 .  theyve been calling for weeks, but ive never answered. I answered for the first time on monday.  THe man sounded very unprofesional,  he was giving me this bull s**t about "congradulations'  you quilify to win, but first let me get your info, so i can send you 3 magazines, for like 3 bucks.   he was goin on real fast so finally i said, bye!  then i got a call yes****ay,  i wanted to know more about it then he was just about to sign me up,  so i told him "you do not sign me up" I dont want em!!  Get this through you head!!   I dont want em. I told him this about 4 or 5 times.  Then I asked for his supervisoers number, and he told me he didnt have it.  SOUNDS like a huge scam to me.  this is bull s**t that these people can do this.  does anyone know if company has a name?? cause i want it.

I have received a call from this number 4 times in the past 12 hours. I find it really annoying. They tell me ive been entered in to a drawing to win 1 million dollars. They also talk very fast so you cant get a word in. Ive ***g up on them 3 times and they continue to call back. They are calling my cell phone not my home and when I called the # back i was put on hold and told someone would be with me shortly.

****ed, after I got the phone, they asked my name. But I cannot hear very clearly about the left part. Then the caller ****ed up. I am very angry

I also received a phone call from this number.  They've called me 6 times today.  I work all the time so I am unable to answer when they call, and when I tried calling back, same scenario, always next in line, but no one home.  Now where is it that you're supposed to report harassing telemarketer?  Keep in mind, they are contacting my cell phone which I know is a violation of so****ing.  This is a cool site, glad to know I'm not the only one getting these calls.

I get calls every day for the past three weeks from this 866-250-2640 number and when I call back they keep me on  hold forever claiming I am the next caller in line. Its a scam and I wish someone would do so****ing about it. Its annoying and it sounds like some people are getting really ripped off by these people.

This company has called 3 times per day for the last week. It is a magazine sale scam. You are informed by the first agent that you have won a fabulous price and will also be eligible to receive a highly reduced rate on multiple magazine subscriptions. At this point the representative then hands the phone to whom he refers to as his "supervisor." This OVERLY friendly person will ask you how well the first rep performed as he/she is new to the job. The supervisor then begins speaking as quickly as possible about the terms of the magazine subscriptions, only hitting the "sell points" and not telling you that your account must be automatically debited monthly. You are told that you  will be billed by your debit/credit card a one time shipping fee of $9.99 which will cover the cost of 5 different magazine subscriptions for a year. This is of course followed by a $39.99 monthly bill, billed to your card, which you gave them authorization to by providing the number for the shipping charges. My recommendation is to tell both agents to get real jobs or go out and become real crooks. Upon trying to call them back, you will receive an answer, but will be placed on hold and no one will ever pick up.
