I recieved Several calls from these numger regarding another person... i told them they got the wrong number, i googled them and they have a website for cutomers that are getting called i wrote to them and the calls stoped.. hope this info is useful.. www.globalcollection.net

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.  They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

I especially love the long, loud, annoying beep they leave at the end of the message!calls come from:905-413-8799905-413-8660905-413-8659866-274-8496

Phone Co. said to fill out consumer complaint form at your state's office of attorney general website.

never heard of them claimed non compliance with a "contact agreement", or possibly a "contract agreement".returned call from answering ma****e, his voice mail said global credit.not global credit union who is apparently a legit bank somewhere that people try to emulate to perpetuate fraud.

Don't know who these people are...they left a ***ue message on my answering ma****e about a non-compliance concerning a matter. I have not have the slightest idea what these people are talking about. I am not screening my calls and will only answer if a detailed message is left.

I recently moved to Texas from California-I am a RETIRED LOS ANGELES POLICE OFFICER! I was given my new telephone number by my local telephone Co-op in ***by, TX. WITHIN 60 DAYS of getting this new number, I beagn getting numerous calls saying I need to call and "I was in NON-compliance" (whatever that is!!). Two days ago, I got another call from 866-274-8495 (I have been getting the same type of calls from the 1-800 number also). They left a message, and I called back within minutes. A man picked up the phone. I told him that this was a new telephone number and I was not the person they were looking for. I then asked to be removed from their data bank-he asked my number; I gave it to them (I have a NON published number). I then asked for his name; he refused to give it to me. I insisted on his name or to speak to HIS supervisor; a***n he refused to give it to me and said, "you have been removed from the call list". I asked for the type of business he was in and he refused to tell me and ***g up (I suspect it maybe a collection company but I am not sure). Today, I have had 2 more calls from the 1-800 number! I would be happy to talk with anyone investigating this telephone number- I moved to Texas to get away from **** like this which is all over in CALIF! I just bought this home so it stands to reason that if I had bad credit or debt I would not have been able to buy my new home in Texas! Not to mention I did alot of Fruad type investigation and thats what thies call smells like to me!

left msg on my home phone - s****ing with very loud beeping noises and some rambling message about not contacting them in the correct way...when i called back to see who/what??? they were very evasive, asked my phone # and then asked if i knew a Peter ___someone. I told them no and they abruptly ***g up on me.

called and left mysterious message at my home which began with a loud bleeping noise and ended with the same noise. when i returned call, was not given any information, just asked if i knew ____ a name i was not familiar with. then they just ***g up on me.

They called my cell phone and left a message they were looking for someone and gave that person 24-48 hours to call back. I don't know how they got my cell number.

Said they were prelegal dept for Capitol one. Said they would file legal charges if I didn't make payments of 700.00 plus for 6 months. Continues to call my work number after I told them I could not receive personal calls at that number.

Said we owed money for a capital one card that didn't exist. Wanted us to pay by te****eck because capital one was planning a lawsuit a***nst my parents.

calls my home phone (which by the way is an unlisted number and is on the do not call list) and asks for someone who does not even live here, even though I have told them that, they continue to call here every single day... very annoying..

Called My Cell phone 909-266-6883. Would not give out person's name or company name or what the call was about. Trying to get my name, etc. Would not give out how he acquired my telephone number.

Called looking for the neighbor that lives 2 doors down. Told them they have the wrong number and asked to be removed from their list. They continue to call 2 times a day still.
