I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.  They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

Received a call from an unknown #. ******ly, I answer:Me - "Hello?"Caller - "Is ______ there"This is him.This is ______?Yes.This is ??? Rodriguez, I am calling from Global blah blah blah on behalf of Royal Bank Visa.I'm sorry but I spoke to them about this matter last week, I am unemployed and cannot afford anything let alone these payments.Well have you even looked for work?Excuse me?Have you looked for a job?ok.... No, I figured I would just sit on my**** and starve to *****.You can't take that tone with me.Excuse me??? You know what, this is BS. F#$& off.**** up.30 seconds later they call back and I don't answer knowing its them a***n. She leaves a message personally, not just some prerecorded ****.This is Mrs Rodriguez a***n, you just ***g up on me. That will not be tolerated. Call me, or get your lawyer to call me, because you are going to need one.... Blah blah blah. You can reach me at 8662762679.How am I going to need a lawyer? Quite simply, if I can't afford to pay Visa back, I don't until I can afford to give them some $. But I will not give a penny to this or any collection agency.

Not to worry people - I got the same call this week - just **** up - its nothing to worry about.  If they keep calling I'm sure there so****ing we can do.

This number is calling me two to three times per day. When I blocked my number and called back a guy said the company was called "Global" and needed to know what my number was to "take me off of their list". I don't have any debts and this is a new phone number.

Same message as above, his "Sal" character leaves a threatening automated message. Just called my telephone service provider to block this number from calling me a***n. The representative did a bit of investigating and said I would c****e my number... incredibly annoying...

We suffered the same as above complaints. The calls sound so threatening and scary.About 2 per day.My son had a couple of friends stay at our place for a couple of months.They both could not afford their apartments any more. They both had allot of TV and internet cable equipment from their past addresses and still had contracts to fulfill.They are gone now but their presents still haunts us. These collection people are a rare breed with no scruples of how they present themselves.My wife wonders how poor elderly people would react with these scare tactics they use.

Just got a call from them 1866 276 2679 ext 6058 ask for Rosa.I called to tell them never to call my number or I will commence legal action a***nst them.Its a collection agency of some kind.S***bags con men.

yes i have had the same issues with this company they call all the time ..he says his name is sal and it is automated ,he asks that you call back within 48 hrs.. and if you dont that the matter will escalate .. , has anyone had actually talked to him ?

This number belongs to the s*** bags at Global Collection Agency.  BEWARE!!

I got one similar, only it was an 'urgent matter' that has reached his office and that it could be escalated. He makes it sound like a court case, but it also sounds like an automated message of somesort too.

We have recieed several harassing phone calls about people with the same last name that is not related to us. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor. And called me a "child" and ***g up on me.

I had a call from "Global" with the same jargon about "48 hours"

This fool calls and says he has 48 hrs to open a case? like hes some investigator a regular yuppie guru ta tic to scar you!

We got a call at work from this number where the guy said it was "urgent" we contact them within 48 hrs.... didn't explain who he was or what it was about and this is a business they called!!!!  He sounded like he would be a rude **** if you spoke with him!!!

Getting calls, sometimes 2 times a day left on my recorder. I spoke to a live person 3 times. One caller refused to identify who she was when I asked.  One caller reluctanly said he was from Global.  He was very rude & harassing.  He was trying to reach my daughter who does not live with me and I refused to give him her number and asked my number to be removed from their system.  He said he could continue to harass us because we were blood relatives and refused to transfer to his superior, he then ***g up.  I have reported to FTC.GOV but I think they go by volume of complaints not individual.
