The best thing you can do is to add your phone numbers to the Federal Do Not Call List. http://www.donotcall.org This will not stop everyone, but it should help. Another thing you can try is a service from the phone company that prevents calls with blocked or "private" numbers from ringing through to your phone. This will not specifically prevent "toll-free" numbers from calling, however, if you receive alot of telemarketing calls, it might help. Some phone companies charge extra for the service and some don't. Check with your local phone company. The most sure fire answer i can offer is this: C****e your number and be very selective of whom you give it to. Don't give it to companies, only actual people that you know and talk to. Never enter your phone number on an on-line form or contest entry. If necessary, you can get a MagicJack http://www.magicjack.com (a device that plugs into your computer and works as phone line) and use that number for companies, forms, etc. I just don't connect a phone line to it, let every call on that line got voicemail and check the messages once in awhile (since anyone whom I want to talk to, will have my actual home phone number).

I picked up the phone and told them the person does not live here and that I don't know the person. And now they've s****ed calling really early in the morning. around 8-9 am. It wakes me up and I can't fall back to sleep. I've become sleep deprived and now sick.

They keep calling here but the person they want does not and never has lived here. My husband is in poor health, so it is hard for him to get to the phone. I have asked them FOUR time to stop calling, and explained that they have the wrong number. Now they phone and don't say anything.

Recorded phone call from ICOR Ca***a 3 or 4 times everyday for the past year and a half and we are on the no call list. We would really like it to stop.

Call me four times a day (even in night). When I pick it up, there is nothing or some silly ma****e. It is very annoying for me. I wish it would be possible to somehow block it.

Haven't had a call from this outfit for a while. But now, unfortunately, they're back under this number and others. They used to leave robo VM ultimatums about returning this "VERY important message from ICOR Ca***a" but never bothered mentioning who they are so urgently trying to reach. Now, thankfully there is no message left, just the annoyance of the call.

Wow, iQor only called once today. But did they only call once? First I had a call from; Unknown name - Unknown number at 3:09 pm. Then I had the call from iQor; Unknown name - 1-866-294-1752 at 5:22 pm. Dial *57 and this call was put on Bell's Call Trace List! Then I called them back to thank them for calling! But now I get another call from; Unknown name - Unknown number at 6:17 pm. They are working with the s*** bag who runs this messed up building. Do ya think?

These people have my work number and I receive about 5 calls a week. I wish the government or the telco that sold them the service would put a stop to it.

IQOR IS REALLY PUSHING IT'S LUCK WITH US ! They called a***n today at exactly 1:27 PM. Everyone should see the log file generated by our CID programs over the last 4-5 years. And the number of times they call us in one day. We will make these files available for everyone to see online very very soon. And sooner if they keep calling our home and work numbers regularly.

While the pre-recorded 'Please hold for an important message' is irritating, listening to some fellow mumble and breathe on the other end of the line is even worse - especially when the individual refuses to answer my query as to who he represents and why are they pestering me? I wish my employer would allow me to bring my air-horn to the office!!

Got another call from the collection agency IQOR-CBCL. They had to make another call before the weekend. What am I talking about? They'll call on Sa****ays & Sundays too! They are mixed up scam artists working for the main man who lives here and owes more money than anyone else, with all of his ****** credit cards. Lets say you owe $50.00 for a parking ticket, and the guy who runs the place owes $50,000 (or more) in credit card debts. Well guess who gets bothered the most? You guessed it, the guy with the parking ticket! Does this make sense? Remember, if this is happening to you, don't call them back from your home or work phone numbers. Even if you dial *67 to block your number it won't work. IQOR/CBCL will still know your calling from your home/work number. This will confirm to them you are at that number. However, calling from a payhone (tollfree) and driving them crazy will get them to let up on you a little bit. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!!

This is ICOR Ca***a, a Debt Collector. They are a bunch of leaches that want to be paid for lea****g on others. In my case it was for a two parking tickets on the same day when I parked in our friends driveway with his permission. It happened five years ago. I told them three years ago to take me to court. They said that they could not do that and just wanted me to pay them. I told them that***** will freez over before they get the money. Besides there is such a thing as Statue of Limitations, but they keep of calling.

I got a call from these guys and they told me that I have an unpaid rogers cable bill wich is 224$ and if i don`t pay i`m going to have bad credit.what is interesting they knew my previous address from 2000.I knew it i hadn,t have cable there.So I call Rogers cable they didn,t find anything yet (I was promised they call me back)However they said that number that they give me like Rogers Cable account number can`t be that because they have 9 digits account numbers and that one was 14 digit.So You guys think i don`t have to worry about it?  Thanks

so i have now left a message at the 519 number given to me. The voicemail belonged to a Steve Anton. I asked him to email me my Rogers bill and any other correspondence. I told him how "helpful" the man was that I spoke to that gave me the number....so now I will wait and see.

First it was "i dont know what u mean, office manager" then it was "i need to know who you are before I give you that information"....ok... i have had my share of debt issues and dealt with collectors before but never like this! then he finally gave me a number to call

The first call came in 01.25 areound 130pm from an automated ma****e. No person picked up so I ***g up. I called the number back and spoke to a man with a thick accent, who had some of my personal information that I neither confirmed or denied. How can I find out more about the company? Got this call from 1-866-294-1752. I said*****o. No one was there.It was a recording saying that it was very important that I call1-866-294-1752 right away. No one likes getting phone calls thenhearing a recording. You would think that if someone is callingyou, there would at least be someone to talk too. A good friend warned me not to call back to find outwhat they want. they'll just give your number to someone else to usea***nst you. Another point is, if you answer to these calls you'veconfirmed that there is someone at your number and they can continueto harass you even more. I would think, (a toll free number) one could use a payphone to call these turkeys back.

They call and the first thing they say is what is your sin # or phone # or address ummm*****o you f***ing idiot i am not giving you that info till you tell me who you are...they say i cant tell you tht in less i know you are who we are looking for..."i reply cant be important then...this is 4 times a day for a year now. I had been getting regular calls on my cell from this corporation. Call display showed this number. I called back to enquire and they confirmed they are a collection agency. I also confirmed they werte calling the wrong number. I was then informed my cell number would be removed.

This 411.ca offered services not rendered, they pretended to be BELL CA***A, they do not have a contract for you to sign, all is done over the phone and emails. When I called to complaint they said they will charge me 6 months however I requested full refund, now I have a collection company harrazing me and treathening me to ruin my credit with equifax 6064

I get calls from this number once in a while to my cell, never leave message when I don't answer.  It seems to be an auto dial station that is doing Phishing to get your personal information, they then sale it to make a profit.  They are dude on the phone & all they wanted to do is to get your name, address & date of birth etc.  I say just **** up

This company is a bill collector as I do honestly owe Rogers communications some money and they have told me that. However I asked them to send me a bill however they have not sent it.I am not paying some company I have never heard of or cant tell me anything about them 100s of dollars. The way they do business is harrasment and I cant belive this is legal for them to do this. I think we should all be notifying the police as they have definitely crossed the line.

this number has a formal complaint filed december 24 2008, by the author of this comment, with the crtc.  these ****heads have been calling me incessantly for quite some time, and quite frankly i am getting sick of it.  so merry ....... christmas you ******s..............hell or high water these calls will stop.  pray to god i don't find your street address.  then the s**t will really hit the fan......stop the harassment................

2546 this company called and asked for my daughter...she moved several months ago and I told them so.(this was the first call from them)..they asked for her telephone number and I asked what it was concerning...they wouldn't tell me so I told them to pound salt...they said they would continue to call until I gave them a contact number...told them where to go and ***g up... I dont like pushy people..so if they call back I will take matters into my own hands.and give them fair play.....this behaviour is not acceptable to me...if they are telemarketers wont they be surprised by what I have planned for them...put them on hold..their phones are on a computer dial...which means you can freeze their phones and they cant make any calls...but neither can you until you **** up...

Since Tuesday I have received 12 calls from them - some as early as 7:30am and each time they don't leave a message. I usually don't answer a call if I don't recognize the number but I did answer the last couple times but ***ody spoke on the other end. I have signed up for the National Do Not Call registry over a month ago and my phone number should therefore be not available to telemarketers and I have received 3 calls already today from ICOR

They just called here and said "This is Icor Ca***a Please call 1-866-294-1752 immediately They rhymed it off real quick and if i didn't have call display i wouldn't know what the number is.  I do not respond to computerized messages.  I usually don't answer 1800 numbers because they are usually telemarketers and I am listed on the Ca***a block list.  If you lookup ICOR on here, you will find they use a number of numbers.  They don't answer their phones.  You can wait up to an hour and nothing.  One person said they sell the phone numbers to other companies and boom everyone is calling to sell you so****ing, ignoring the ca***a block list.  Who knows who they are and what do they really want?  I have been called a few times but this was the first time i heard a message.Hopefully they don't call back.
