This 866-297-6863 call twice a day they never leave a message.  Today answer and a man asks for Phillip Whitaker. I told him he have the wrong number and he apologized and ***g up.  This number keeps calling my cell phone..

This number has appeared on my phone several times. I refuse to answer unsolicited numbers as I am on the 'do not call list'.  This number (866) 297-6863  appears with 'Unknown Name' at the top.

theyve called 4x in the past 24hrs, including twice on a sunday evening (?!), i didnt answer any of the calls & no voicemails were left... i brought a new car 2 months ago that came w/ a free trial subscription for serius satelite radio, theyre probably trying to sell me another subscription but i have no intentions to renew..

In my case, I purchased a new car that came with a 6 month free subscription to their service.I have received emails, letters, and now multiple calls to renew my subscription.They are good marketers for sure.Until that car purchase, I have never had any marketing communications from them.http://www.sirius.com/They are not bill collectors, or anything other than a company selling a service (one that I have enjoyed for 6 months for free).However, I hate it when this sort of call does not result in a voice mail - makes them look sort of furtive.

My wife answered the first time, and they asked for me by first and last name, then when I got on the phone, they wouldn't talk, then ***g-up. Wife said she couldn't tell if the voice was male or female. Now they are calling at least twice a day. I am also on the "Do Not Call List".

If you pick up the phone when it is "RINGING", it will more than likely be a collection agency on the other end looking for any kind of info to connect you to an account or create one.  If you see the number on your caller ID and "CALL THE NUMBER", you will actually connect to the actual party that the number was****igned to.It's called phone s****ing.  This is mostly done by collection agencies.  They pretend to be someone else and getting enough info from you to create an account.  Next thing you will get is a paper threat to pay so****ing in full or go to court.  Some of us have been dealing with these bottom feeders for months and years.  We have programs that track and trace these numbers and then match them to the time and dates with the phone company. None have matched the actual caller.  They also s**** themselves as your neighbors. Advice: take your bill or some proof to the phone provider and have them trace.  If you owe money or have ever in the past, you can bet places like these will be faking themselves as someone else to get the data they need. Make note that these collection agencies can get a lot of info on people by accessing credit reports. they call three to four times a day. Late at night they call when i'm tryin to put my 19 month old to sleep. I wish they would stop calling(we are on the do not call list)

I have caller ID and it show as toll free--I dont pick up the phone with this kind of # -- I`am on the don`t call list--they do call a least 3-4 times a week--stop them!
