Leave a CommentReceived a message to return a call to the Small Business Network. When I found out they were simply a company trying to give out credit cards, I declined and asked them to take our name off the list. I was ***g up on by a girl name Tia. I called back and got Tia a***n. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me I was crazy and that no one was available, then ***g up a***n. After 2 more tries, I got someone by the name of Tisha, who told me it will take 30 days, and then ***g up on me also. They are very rude people and I never want them to call me a***n.
800-895-6827 x301 I have repeatedly told them to stop
I have 2x told them to stop calling me. And they did it a***n today. I have been getting 4 or 5 calls / week from them. what can I do?
It looks like Dennis Walker's home number is 619-437-6986...try him there..
I got a call yes****ay from a local number and asked me to call 866-310-9662 regarding a SBN loan for $250k. I called them this morning and was picked by another lady who seemed to know who I am when I told her the telephone number I am calling from. This lady agent then began telling me that a Master Card is reserved for me and asked me how I wanted my name to appear on the card. She also explained that there is a 0% APR for the 1st 4 months and later it will be prime, ie., 7.25%. The lady then asked me that she needs to verify my address and put a recorder on and asked me for my complete name and address and then began asking me regarding an active bank account. This sounded an RED ALERT. I asked her why she needs my account number for just sendingme information about their service. She said SBN verifies bank account to be valid before sending materials and then Master Card. THIS IS A CLASSIS RIP-OFF NIGERIAN TYPE OF SCAM. BEWARE!!!.DO NOT GET ****ED INTO THIS.

I work for Small Business Network. We are calling numbers that we have listed as a business, not a residence. The current DNC lists and laws only apply to residentcial phone numbers and calling them for home purposes. If you do a search of your phone number on either google, yahoo or msn you will find it attached to a business. We are allowed to call those numbers that are attached to a business for business reasons (even if it is on the DNC for residential reasons). I highly recommend editing those listing to remove the attachment of these numbers from a business listing and then SBN, and others like us, can no longer call your number. You can email me to remove any number from our call lists! [email protected]
A few more bits of information:1. The non-toll free phone numbers listed in above posts (440-839-2146 and 216-839-2146) originate in Ohio. AT&T is the main telephone service provider in Ohio. AT&T has a fraud center that can be reached be dialing 800-438-5678. Unfortunately, you'll get very little immediate feedback from the AT&T employee who answers the phone, but enough complaints should motivate AT&T to action. (I'm crossing my fingers for luck).2. I spoke with the State of Ohio Attorney General's office, and they were very helpful. You can reach the Consumer Protection Department if the Ohio AG by dialing 877-244-6446. After filling a complaint, you will be issued a complaint ID #. I was told that I will receive a follow-up within two weeks.3. I spoke with MasterCard, and they confirmed that the credit card offered by SBN is fraudulent. At no time will MasterCard, or any of it's issuing ins***utions, offer a credit card over the phone. For further information, MasterCard can be reached by dialing 800-622-7747.If any other information becomes available, I'll post it.
I've experienced basically the same. (Hopefully) a couple useful tools are listed below:1. The link to the complaint for to the National Do Not Call Registry is https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx2. Buried in the SBN's website are two additional phone numbers: Member Services Group (888.817.6673) and Customer Service Group (800.817.1726). The link to this -- and other -- information is http://www.sbni.com/aboutus.cfm.Do with as you will.
Thanks to these posts I was able to get the phone number for the Small Business Network to report them for violating the Do Not Call list policies. They do not list a # on their website. They've called me many times at 9 am using a recorded voice. I'm really sick of this already.
I'm not a member of the Small Business Network. People should bring this number to the attention of their States Attorney. For violating the do not call lists, this company may be responsible to pay $ 500 per person they called. So please report this to your States Attorney. The more complaints they get, the better chance they'll take action.
can someone please send me a fax program with an autodialer... i got a call from these people this morning, called the # to ask to be removed from the list and they ***g up!
I got a call from this number and when I called to complain that I am on the do not call list they said that I was listed as a company. I have had the same number for 9 years and this number was never used as a business phone. They had my name.
I just recieved a long... message from Small Business Networks. Its my cell phone and I use it for my business. Please who ever has the idea of sending out the auto dialerm please do and give them a taste of their own medicine. The call came from 216-839-2146 but it states to call 866-310-9662
My answering ma****e usually catches calls from the SBN autodialer con artist. Got another one today. The recording touts activation of a new credit card simply by "pressing 1 on your phone". This might well be a form of phishing (iden***y theft) should anyone be foolish enough to either press 1 or call the number and give out personal info to a stranger. As someone's already mentioned, the scammer is VIOLATING THE DO NOT CALL LIST law. Here's info on how to file a complaint, but don't hold your breath waiting for the FCC to nail this small time crook - http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/REMINDER: Hard to believe 5 years have passed, but if your number is on the DNC list, your expiration date may be coming up. Renew it BEFORE expiration so calls don't s**** up a***n during the transition window.
I just got the recording on my voice mail, and I'm on the do not call list.Complaint filed!
The number on my caller id was a local number (no name) but the number they left to call was 866-310-9662. It was SBN offering me a line of credit for my "business" up to $250K. I like the autodial fax idea from Paul.
I just renewed all my numbers on the "Do Not Call List". Still, the "Small Business Network" left a solicitation with the direction to "Hit four now to automatically sign up". Yes, I got through to the call center and when they determined I was NOT a prospect they ***g up! I will try the autodial fax next.
Just gave number. It was an autodialed call.
They called this morning at 9 am. Left message for the small business network. Ha! We're a private home on a no call phone list!
A follow-up.. the info for that domain is: Small Business Network, Inc.Dennis Walker ([email protected])619.437.6048945 Bay CircleCoro***o, CA 92118They also hawk books - http://www.sbnbooks.com/One more call and I'll unleash the power of my auto dialer in my fax program. I'll just set it to send a ***deed copys of my do not call policy to their 800 numebr. The call centers LOVE that. They usually shut down for a few hours while my PC keeps running up their 800 bill and stops them from doing business. SWEET REVENGE!
Same... SBN.. Small Business Network http://www.sbni.com.. it's a solicitation that offers you a Visa card. I called the 800 number.. sounded like a call center. said they would take me off the list. I say eveyone should call them and complain. Never mind the "take me off thelist" ****. Tell em to just stop calling people. Enough calls their way will be an annoyance.. they should be able to understand that!
Call came from an outfit calling themselves the "Small Business Network". They were offering a business credit card with about $200k limit. They left the number above as a call back. Other people on the web have reported the same scam from different numbers.
