Greenwich****ociates is the name....they have left messages for me too....I never answer them (I have caller ID)

I live in Spruce Grove, Alberta & I also get calls from 866-319-1118, ****es me off, that I have phone service that I pay for, & Telus does nothing to prevent it.

W***VER these a**holes are..,, they NEED to STOP.., Like 2 weeks ago !! Wolf

I get their calls on my cell phone every ****ed day while I'm at work. I've asked to be taken off their calling list but that's like asking pigs to fly! They keep this up and I'll be calling them daily to pay my cell ph bill.

****** callers doing the same thing to my rogers house line. F***ing annoying.

call once a day... never answer any 1-800 number... not leaving msg either... how the hack we can stop this kind of annoying market ting practice????

I had the same thing, 3 missed calls from 866 319 1118, of course you cant call them back or at least I cant because of my phone plan.  At least now I know its just a boring fake call and not an important one.

Got a call from this 866-319-1118 number saying they were from T.D. Waterhouse---and they knew my name too! Told them to call back in a few minutes, but they never did.

I got a call from this number too,,missed the call(lucky me) and they didn't leave a message.  I am also on the Do Not Call List, with both this phone and land line.

So, what's up with these guys?  I see a 1-800 # and think maybe it's the alarm company for the business (ah, but I know the number now).  They've called before and they called tonight at 10:00pm (so you have to answer it so the kids don't wake up) and when you answer they **** up.  When you try and call them back, you get a voice mail saying, "Thank you for calling Consumer Contact and Opinion Research....  We look forward to calling you in the future...."  It'll be a frosty day when I****ist them in any regard or take their call.  Their tactics are highly unacceptable and unwanted.  How do I ditch them?

This is about the 6th time this number has called me. I haven't ever picked up because I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize so I googled it and this came up. I'm glad other people have posted about this number so I know it's not only me. Any tips on how to get off whatever list they got my number from? PS they call me on my cell which few people even know the number for..

Have you tried to call the 866-319-1118 number? Well its consumer contact and Opinion research firm. If you live in the toronto area then more than likely you or someone you know has givin them your info. They are nothing bad in anyway. Next time just answer and tell them your not interested and they will leave you alone. So you know This company looks for individuals to do tests on..  you either answer questions and get paid for it or stop smoking or whatever,, I know this because they call us every so often telling us about the next research project and seeing if we would like to be involved for X amount of dollars.

They just called me. Didn't leave a message. Don't know how they got my cell #. They called from 866-319-1118. It's illegal since both my cell and home phone are on the "Do Not Call" list. This stinks!

i just got my first call from these people... i also get non-stop calls from mormons (1-877-200-9000) who never stop, even though i told them to. they don't leave voicemails, just like 1-866-319-1118, so i'm guessing they got my number from the mormons. i'm calling rogers right now to find out if i can block calls from these numbers.update: numbers can be blocked, but it costs $5 p/month. forget it, i don't have $60 a month to waste on blocking numbers.

these *****s called me every half hour on the minute until i turned off my cell phone. i answerd it twice and it was the same person on the phone with the same name, asking for some guy that i have never herd of... thank god it stoped after i told them that i am a police officer..

hello i am located in toronto ca***a and for the past 4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local416 number which i reside in.These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either ****ing up or fronting themselfs asROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:1-800-493-13041-866-709-13291-410-774-84061-616-980-25221-888-248-55541-866-319-11181-310-***-6048416-665-13771-416-188-82311-623-238-6131I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doingthe same thing to other people on the internet.Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or isactually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many timesthey **** up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then ****up.This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a daytotalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internetwith people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything doneWHATS THE NEXT STEP??

December-3-2007. Answered the phone and they asked for the previous owner of the house which hasn't lived here for over 5 years. This is the second time they called tonight, the first call number was 866-319-1118. Told them the same thing when they asked about the previous owner and then they persisted to call from the 3188 number. The funny thing is that my number isn't listed under the previous owner's name considering I've only had this number for two years and the phone company informed me that my number is ***nd new and never previously used...So my question is how did they acquire my number although asking for the previous owner when my number is clearly labeled with my name? 866-590-3188 and 866-319-1118 are both from the same people.

they call almost everyday and there is never a voice on the other end and/or they never leave a message on answering ma****g.  how can i get them to stop?  who is harassing me, please?

These people call twice a week every week for 3 weeks now. They are very rude when asking for my boss(which they never get his name right) when I say he is unavaiable can I help they they get mad and say no we must speak to him and **** up on me. How do you make it stop?
