I got a call from 866-348-8647 on my caller ID from American Center at 8:23 A.M. this morning.Yes****ay it was from ACLJ-202-607-2557. Did not answer. Went on the answering ma****e.No message. Just a **** up. Do you think they will eventually get the message that they arebeing screened.

Listed as "Toll Free Number". A woman from a call center asked for my husband by name and if he was available. Would not talk to me when I said he was not. I called back. The recording said they were sorry to miss our call and would contact us back in a few days. I pressed the selection to learn more about the company. Jay Seculou (phonetic) has a radio and TV program. He has been a guest on the 700 club. They are a conservative pro-cons***utional organisation that helps represent/protect first amendment/freedom of s***ch court cases. They are legit.

We're called several times a day. How can we stop this?

Called at 8:15pm. They are asking if I want to add my name to the pe***ion to fight to keep the National Day of Prayer, whereas an atheist group is trying to dismantle it. I don't think there is anything wrong with religious groups supporting our country by praying for it - I do believe in religious freedom and at least a positive relationship between church and state. But then they asked me for a donation of $100, then asked for $30-$50, or anything smaller. Times are tough and I don't like being solicited in person for donations.

Someone from this number calls regularly at different times and does not leave a message, I have heard that it is ACLJ, I get calls from them as well but it prints up on the caller I.D. even if you answer the phone you get no immediate response. It's time for this stuff to stop one way or the other.

I live in the PST, they s****ed calling about 8am and call all hours of the day. Our phone number is on the do-not-call list too. I haven't answered any of the calls, they do go to our answering ma****e and then ACLJ ****s up, no message, nothing. This is ridiculous. Who am I talking to and spell the name. Now this company must pay for the 800 call and pay an employee to talk to us.

It just came up on the caller ID as Unknown. I let it ring through to the ma****e and then they ***g up before the message was half way through. I called back and an automated message came on saying it was the ACLJ calling with information. WHY?!? This is the first time they called from this number, so they are trying to be tricky.

I just called the ACLJ, and apparently they don't like getting calls from me any more than I do from them! When politely inquiring how I could get on a DO NOT CALL list, they said nothing, just quietly ***g up on me. Are you kidding me?! I know the ACLJ does do a lot of good, but rude behaviour and incessant calls every day - even weekends - make this one company that will never see a red cent of mine. They give Christians a horrible name. Shame on them.

Someone from this number called us at 1:00AM. Said there was a problem with a credit card. That's a little to early for us. Didn't quite understand what they meant, of course at 1:00AM I don't understand anything!!! I am also on the do not call list!!

I get a lot of calls from this number but thanks to caller ID and an answering ma****e I don't accept them. They never leave a message and I never take calls from numbers that I don't recgonize that don't leave messages. We're on the "Do Not Call" registry but this person (or people) don't seem to care. Hope they get busted soon and it costs them big $$$$$$$$

This number has called me several times a week for the past two years. We are on the do-not-call list. They call and hollar, "Hello,*****o,*****o" into my answering ma****e. They can't seem to determine the difference between a human voice and a ma****e.

We are on the do no call list. All telemarketers should, by law, have to remove us from the list if we are on the do not call list. Even non-profit companies just call and call! They are wasting their time because we will not give any money to telemarketers.
