I have been having issues with an eBay user who bought from me and filed a claim through Paypal a couple of weeks later stating that he didn't receive his purchased product (I live in Ca***a, he in Australia.) PayPal sided with him, which is not surprising if you know anything about PayPal. Anyways, this phone number is fir a collection agency that PayPal hired.   They left me a message; left a contact name, phone number, extension number, and file number. About ten minutes after the initial call I called back, but there was no answer at the extension. It went to an answering ma****e. So, I ***g up.   Do not return these calls unless you know your rights. I sure don't know mine, so I am going to begin looking into this.

I'm in the Montreal region. A man calls and leaves a message about some kind of account number in a exterior furniture store in my region and he wants me to call back 1 866 378 2730 ext 5698. I did a search on the web before calling and it brought me here. So I'm not calling back but should I do so****ing else?

This so called "collection agency" in fact collects your personal information - name, address, phone, date of birth, SIN number and then they get credit cards and financial loans on your name.Do not give them any information and report to police immediately!

Now they s****ed to call British Columbians.Phoned us may be 20 times, not giving any details, but asking for personal info.

Ive been getting multiple calls with this reference as well. It is a restricted number that calls me on my phone and they are asking for some Marcella Valdakime or so****ing like that. Ive answered the call before and told them that that individual is not at my number and for them to stop calling me and remove my number from their list, yet these calls have persisted. They recently left me a message and I was given this number to call some woman with a heavy accent back at 1 866 378 2730 ext 5652. It is becoming harassing and there's a few things Im debating doing, one being a report to the police about persisting phonecalls which are becoming harassing with reference to this number. I wonder if it is so****ing that they can deal with, as I donot wish to c****e my phone number, e****ally considering that calls from this reference are evidently not simply restricted to me, but harassing to many people. The name they give for themself or the company is unclear in the message because of her super heavy accent.

NCO is a collection agency!  They lie, and never follow governing laws that are impletemented to collection agencies.  They must always send you a letter first then can only call after 6 days after it is sent.(watch your date stamp on the letter)  if you have not received a letter call them back after 11 at night and ask for another to be sent and you will only discuss after receiving the letter.  Once receiving it, send them a registered letter stating that you wish communication only be done through mail so you can have a hard copy and proof of not getting *****ed.  Send this to the collector - make sure you get the name - whether it is real or not as well as an employee number and ext.  Also send it to the President.  Upon this letter you send(KEEP ALL DO***ENTATION)send in $5.00 a month to them by money order - never give them any bank information or employment information.  If they continue to call and harrass call and complain to the ministery of ocnsumer services - the agent can and will be charged and eventually loose their collection license!

calls from private caller, several times a day sometimes they leave a message a mans voice saying urgentwhen i tried to call the number back it ****s up the message left is french and english and the number is18663782730, with a reference number. annoying.

They've called here three times today leaving only one message. They do not say who they are calling for or who they are, just their number, an ext. and a ref. number. They always come up as private caller and my husband does not answer private or unknown callers. They've harassed him the first and only time he's talked to them twisting up his words saying that he doesn't want to pay when he clearly states he CAN NOT pay....watch out for the manipulation they will try on you..clearly state your reasoning as the call is recorded.

I believe they call multiple times a day.   However for the last few weeks it's been ringing on e and ****ing up immediately - no messages left. I haven't received anything by mail and I do not answer blocked calls, and have no intention of returning a mystery caller that har***** me without stating who they are from and what their call is regarding.

They called me from NCO Finnacial Office 1-866-378-2730 ext:5627, and they said it is urgent toI called them back! when I Called them, I found out that is NCO Finnancila Agency (Collection agency) but the case number they left for me even was not in their system no either they could find my name too!!! Even they did not have my phone number that they used to leave messege for me!!!!!!!!!.... They asked me to call them back a***n to find out more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....... (I do not know what they mean? Find out about what!!!!!.....)
