Hello everyone - I also got a message  from this corporation, no name,  but she disclose in detail why she was calling. "This is an attempt to collect a debt, any information gathered  will be use  for that purpose only"  When I called back she talked to fast I had trouble understanding.  I think she said her name is  Chanta?,.   She asked  my name which I confirmed,  then she gave me the last 4 digits of my SS# and address, (correct ones),  but these I denied because her tone was so rude.  The period she referred to,  my balance was 0.  Now,   she claimed  there is a large balance on my account as a  write off.  They are now demanding full payment.   I had been fighting with Macy's telling them that the purchase was/is fraud, but  they refused to do anything about it. I have called  the headquartes,  spoke with every manager in the store, supervisors,   and the VIP.  They all treated me like a delinquent,  refuse  to investigate or believe?  My account has been open for almost  20 years, always paid in full.   My credit now is ruined. derogatory.  This  collection agency keeps is calling demanding payment  in  full which they claimed is over 2,000 and keeps going up. There is no way I can pay this amount/or why? My sole income is Social Security Disability.  My heath is deteriorating because of the stress.  Any comment on this will be greatly  appreciated.  Thanks.

They call and never says anything

When these guys call me, I make fake ********* with them... only called me 3 times and it stopped... I then tried to call them, they blocked my number!  Its a fun way to deal with debt collectors when you have become unemployed...... since I will spend my money on food and housing before paying for these items.  sad. I know I owe the debt, but I have to be alive in the future to be able to pay them when things get better.

Bill collection

This company called and explained they were trying to collect on outstanding debts of my wife. They had very limited information on her, and were also missing the part that she was deceased. I believe this to be a scam to get money.

HAVE U ANSWERED THE CALL? PICKING UP AND ****ING UP MAKES IT WORSE JUST PICK UP TELL THEM U HAVE THE WRONG NUMJRB AND REMOVE IT IF THEY DONT THEN FILE A COMPLAINT....THEY HAVE A RULE WERE THEY MUST REMOBVE A NUMBER WHEN THEY'ER TOLD THAT ITS THE WRONG NUMBER.

BY LAW THEY ARE ONLY TO CALL BETWEEN 8AM-9PM NO LATER THAN THAT. IF ASKD TO CALL A CERTAIN TIME THERE SUPPOSE TO BUT DUE TO THE DIALAR SYSTEM THEY CALL ALL DAY ITS A RE****ED SYSTEM....ALWAYS CALLING NUMBRS BACK TO BACK.

I got a call from this number and they left a message saying it was an urgent matter and to **** up if I am not the person they are calling, and if I continue to listen to the message I am acknowledging I am that person. Well, there isn't anyone by that name at my house and furthermore, how would they know I'm listening to a message from my voice mail??  Crazy people....I never answer my phone if the caller ID shows: unavailable , toll free or private. Most of the time no message is left.  And I never call back if I don't know who they are.

Van Ru Credit calls my houe over 6 times a day s****ing at 9:00a.m. till about 9:30p.m. my mom works hours a day and I tell them to call back around 7:00p.m. and they will call in a hour to an hour and a half later.

They've been calling for the past week, asking for someone else, I keep trying to tell them they have the wrong number today she actually told me she spoke to this person at this number last week and then ***g up on me when I told her she was crazy.

The 'Do Not Call' registry is only for telemarketers. It does not apply to bill collectors. So many people can't seem to get that straight.Otherwise...yes this is Van Ru Credit Corporation, and yes they deal with Macys and other debts.
