why are they calling me and how can I top them from calling me.  How can I block this number

This number has been calling me for about 6 months, and it is aggravating the **** out of me. Whenever it gets my voicemail, the only thing that gets recorded is "99", so I know it's an automated recording. I am about to block the number before I go crazy. Oh, and I live in Louisiana, by the way.

They are a collection company and this is their website address http://www.takhargroup.com/ I won't answer any calls from them based on the postings here.  I don't know why they are looking for me what I would like to know is how do I block their number from my cell.

They just called me too .... the number they said to call back was 877-227-3390.  Just googled the number and its a collection agency.  The left me the same message they left Mj.  I dont plan on calling them back.

Similar experience to others: evening calls, automated/recorded voice directing me to call their number. The "voice" who answers will not disclose who they are. We need a corporate name and mailing address. Help, anyone.

This is a Medical Collection Attorney Groupbased in Louisana I think anyway.They hound you about medical bills you owe any number they can dig up.

it's a collection company they called my cell which is a bank cell and when l answered they said they were looking for Mrs Dijoan Flowers, l have never had that name before so l connected my phone to my work comp and it pulled them as a collection company.l dont know how they are getting these cell numbers.

I have had several calls from this number on my caller id. They called a***n tonight and when I answered they gave me the number to call back. When I called back I got a recording to leave a message. I put a block on the number so hopefully I wont get any calls like this.

They have been calling me in the past couple of weeks also on my cell phone.  Nothing from this number on my home phone but they do not leave any message.  I don't answer it and tried reverse directory and there is no listing.  I'm so glad I found this site, now I will never answer it.

I just got a call from these people at almost 9:00. Auto generated msg.Interesting that so many have gotten calls from this number and have not been able to get any idea of who they are. I'm glad this site is here or I might think it was some collection agency or so****ing.

i got this call and they said it was urgent but could not understand the rest of message got voice mail

called with urgent message on answering ma****e late almost 9pm. Called next morning ....they would not give me any info. Only wanted my husband, wanted his work number, I demanded to know if it was business, credit, money, an offer etc. They would not give me any information and were rude.  When I was asking a***n she said "he will know" in a threatening voice. I was a credit supervisor,I can't figure this one out? When I do I will post a***n.

I received a message saying it was urgent that I return their call.  It must have been computer generated because the message began before the beep, so the beginning of the message was cut off.  I got their hours (9-5), urgent that we speak with you, and what sounded like the "Taggert Group."  After repeating the phone number a***n, there was a bit of silence, then an odd "press 1, press 2 for your agent to call you or leave a message for your agent". I don't know who they are and don't plan on calling.  This is a very helpful cite.

called me the last two days, i will be calling my verizon provider to find out information. or at least block it! seems like we have all been recently called from this number!

Called me saying it was urgent to call.  All I get is a message saying to leave a message.  I have had scam callers before and could usually tell when someone is pulling a scam.  I did not leave a message and if they call a***n, I will report them to the no call list people.  Would like to know who these people are.
