I missed the call, but it was calling about a stage for water conservation, all water use outdoors is prohibited because there’s been a break in a primary line to the city I live in. I received a text as well but it was from a 5 digit number from the city. This number is not a nuisance caller.

This is a company that provides emergency notifications for public safety agencies. Mine was telling us that the non-emergency 911 lines were down in St Marys County Maryland.

The is a number from the Seattle Emergency Management. They were reporting that offices would be closed due to extreme icing on the roads.

No msg. left but number lookup claims it is a community alert system for the area of Concord, MA. I live nowhere near there, and no msg was left, so this is a SPAMMER spoofing the Mass. number.

This is not a spammer. This is an alert number for the City of Aransas Pass, TX. They call with important alerts for the city.

Called at 1:00 in the morning and never left message. Google says area code is used as a some of the states information number.number

Called at 1:40am and left a message on my answering machine about a missing teen. I've had calls from this system before, but at a more reasonable hour.

Robo call system left message that over-night several large sinkholes had opened up in the area and that all homeowners should check for cracks in their walls and floors. If any large cracks or depressions in the floor, or if any cracks in the walls are found, to call 911 and to evacuate the residence.

Was a call from South Elgin, IL  Police Department message telling about a missing 8 year old boy

Saw the number on my cell and didn't answer. I looked it up on here and then I decided to call it back. It said it was a code red call center or something. Then it told me that there was a message delivered to my number. It played the message. The message said that my trash pick up would me delayed until saturday. Weird... I don't call that a code red.

Called @ 05:57 and woke us up.... NO MESSAAGE, when dialed back automated system said no one called to this number. Baloney!

I got a call tonight from the Gurnee police dept about a missing child in my neighborhood that was last seen 4 hours prior to the call and a 1/2 block from my house.

It is and emergency system that government uses to contact the public about emergencies in your area - when i got the call in the middle of the night it was for a gas leak in my area. We evacuated the family safely and woke up a few neighbors to come with us - thank goodness for technology and the public safety personnel that put this in place.

I missed a call from this number on my cell. They left no message and when I called the number back it was an automated voice that said I reached the number for the code red report that had just contacted my phone, but then it just hung up. It didnt tell me what the code red was about

Called @ 2:22 and automated message said is was a "critical code-red" info. system, but hung up.

This phone number called at 2:22pm and 2:24 testing Oklahoma State University's emergency alert system (i.e. a gunman on campus--something of that nature).

Called me twice and hung up.  I called it back and it said it was an Emergency Code Red (something) and then it hung up.

i recieved a call 249am april 6th in woodlawn maryland. called 911 and they said they knew of no such emergency call system. called the number 4 times and it was silent then hung up. weird but i will be repoting it. i work for verizon so ill catch them.

This is the number that always calls when I get an "AMBER ALERT" (missing child) tag from my hometown area.  The number will call repeatedly until either I pick up or my voicemail catches it.  Sometimes it will call 4 or 5 times before either happens.

This was my police department in maryland telling me about a missing child seen in my area that day.  The call was at 12 midnight though but it was legit.

Hit my phone 12 times in 12 minutes.  Didn't even wait for voice mail.
