Leave a CommentStudent loan forgiveness program. Scammers. I’ve never signed up with such a program.
Asking about student loans
This was a scam call everything all the post have stated already. Also the number the scammer is calling from was not retained appear in my caller ID or call history!
The guy said he was from the Loan Forgiveness Program & he has been trying to get a hold of me to finish signing up. He said that I need to give him a call by 6 pm today or they would have to close my account. I called from a different # & it sent me to a robot with all these ? it said it would transfer me then ***g up.
scammer same as above i recomend not calling back
He pretends to have an incomplete student loan forgiveness application he's trying to get in touch with me about. No amount of trying to get these people to stop will help.
Wants you to call 1-866-459-9358 by the close of business day to complete Student Loan Forgiveness Application.
“Call by the close of business today to complete the application.” I’ve never s****ed an application, and I’m not buying whatever he’s selling.
Called from a different number but gave this one for call back. Said I needed to complete my paperwork by close of business today.
Absolutely the same VM. But I don't have any student loans.
Like others, I also got a call about an application for a student loan forgiveness program needing to be completed.
A man left a voicemail for student loan forgiveness program, the number he said to call: 866-459-9358. All my school stuff has been paid off for years...and in a school of another country. So yes, this is spam.
Same message left as the one Rachael wrote about.
Says he's calling to complete a student loan forgiveness application.
Received the same call as others above. Likely a scam since I didn't fill out any forms for forgiveness.
called me earlier today, left a voicemail. never told me who he was but that i need to finish some application. i know i have not done any applications for loans as i have been paying off student loans for 2 years now. told me to call back for 6 pm EST. then left the 866 number. as from what im seeing online, total scam
"Just Miller" left me a VM exactly like the message above. The number he called from was a Mississippi area code, but the number he said to call back was 866-459-9358. I have been looking into student loan forgiveness but do not recall filling out any application, plus he never said a company he was representing. Definitely a scam!
Same message as everyone else s****s halfway through. Saw them calling and then immediately somehow ***g up and left a voicemail
Got same message as other comments above. Not sure if this is a scam though.
They s****ed the voicemail partially through a statement stating to call them back to close it out.... no reference to what this is. They called from a different number than they provided. Likely a scammer.
Did not give a company name but said we beeded to complete a student loan forgiveness app I s****ed awhile back... or they needed to close it out so i was asked to give them a call back either way- NOT happening here!
Scam! This is what my voice mail from this person or thing (pre-recorded message??) sounded like... The funny thing is, is that I received the phone call from a number that said it was from Alabama (256) 786-8862. Also, I do not owe any student loans and I'm currently 53 and have nots attended college since I was in my early twenties. This was the message left on my voicemail: "Hi this is Justin miller(?) calling you in regards to your request to be evaluated for the student loan forgiveness program and the little(?) payment options it's currently Friday January 10. We got s****ed a while back or never able to reach you to finish the application which you're gonna have to finish it or just close it out so if you're still interested in pursuing it really we need you to give us a call back today before 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time and actually even if you're not interested please give us a call back so we can make a note in our records and stop the calls. You can reach us at 866-459-9358. I'm not available you can speak with any of our counselors in the office and they should be will help you out the same so thanks and have a great day."
