This company sells SAT prep course materials. The phone rep stated that there was a trial period of 30 days from the time the program was first loaded during which a full refund would be issued if we weren't satisfied. Now they state that the 30 day period is from the date of shipping and no refund will be issued. To top it off, "Junelle" the customer service manager is extremely rude!
These scammers phoned me several times- I DESPISE ALL TELEMARKETING. I filed a complaint about their attempted "nonprofit" filing late Feb/March with California and the IRS. I notice their website NOW claims pay'ts to them are NOT tax deductible - they are "awaiting" approval for nonprofit status (my a**). Before they claimed pay'ts were deductible. Apparently they have been into all kinds of scams: http://www.sandiego6.com/content/unit6/story. ... 21-d***2bd604bd - healthcare included! And have been ordered to stop but haven't. Caller ID: 866-490-3109 Caller: American Education Foundation
I was solicited by this company without my initiating the contact. I fell victim to their solicitation and am now having to dispute my purchase of this product. I found internet information listing this as a scam organization. We, too, are on the 'do not call list'. Please don't fall victim to this scamlike I did!
They keep on calling us and we don't want them to.
The Caller was selling an SAT/ACT prep product however the sales ladies unwillinesss to provide a company name seemed very su****ious. When I told herthat I was looking up the company on the Internet she ***g up.

have had a couple calls from this number now even though we're on the "no call" lists for both our home & cell numbers.
Phone rings but no response when we pick up.
Called and ***g up. My number is registered as "Do Not Call."
Called tonight. Same as 'parent' on 5/16, the telemarketer knew my daughter's name and class rank, and claimed my daughter had asked for the materials when registering for the PSAT. The telemarketer stated she was "calling to verify their information" prior to shipment. I told her this was the first I had heard of the matter and asked the cost****ociated with the program. When the telemarketer told me the program cost $149.00, I told her (a) my wife and I had not authorized any such order, (b) we had not given anybody authority to obligate us without our consent, and (c) if they had any such order in their system they should cancel it immediately. Telemarketer immediately ***g up without further response.
Called me today about SAT testing software. Gave me a website that's wasn't theirs. Scam. Shouldn't be calling I'm on 'no call list'
They're a scam! On the REAL AMEDF website they have a warning. SEE: www.amdef.org
called to offer "discount" ACT web education promising 4 point improvment on ACT. Would not offer phone number to call back. Wanted Credit card number for $149 and said if I did not purchase today, it would be $349, because all "funded" cl***** would be used. Knew my Son's name.
calls many times everyday
The caller knew my son's name and claimed that he had asked for the materials when he registered to take the PSAT. She was relentless and rude. She actually said that if I communicated with my son as much as I should then I would know he had asked for this program. When I really pushed her to tell me exactly where they got our phone number, she ***g up on me.
seem to get a lot of these since my child graduated...
Wanted my credit card number but would not give me a phone number to call and verify who they were.
Calls twice daily and never leaves a message
Keeps calling and nothing on the other end, Given a nasty little voicemail on thier system to stop
called and ***g up on friday night at 7.40 pm
A guy called and asked for "**x's mom or dad." I said "**x's dad is at work." He said he'd call back. He probably will. If so, we will block that number on our phones.
Self-identified as American Education Foundation to offer SAT-PSAT services.I asked if they are a govt. agency or a private business. Rep got very upset and became rude. He said my child had filled out a form expressing interest in their services. I hope they don't call a***n.
Multiple calls, I went to their website and sent them an email asking them to take me off of their list. We'll see. '[email protected]'
I've never lived anywhere that I get so many telemarketer calls all day long. They call several times a day, every day. Today I finally answered ANGRY. The person asked to speak to Kayla's mom or dad... If they are going to bother to say so****ing then why do they make this stuff up...
incessant calls, no messages, all hours
Called several times. Many people on other web sites point out how rude these people are (and have been to me). This "Foundation" claims to be nonprofit, in reality has only applied to be. Has taken the same name as legit nonprofit in NJ. They sell outdated test-prep mat'ls at a discount. I notice their website has possibly disappeared. I hope they do - maybe that's why they are so rude - Good! The ruder you are, the happier I'll be! (I've filed with Calif. and Fed. A.G.'s as to your nonprofit status - I hope it's having effect!)
Calling all hours of night and nonsolicited
Sells overpriced SAT/ACT test prep CDs. Claims to be a charitiable foundation but not approved by IRS as a non-profit.
calls back repeatedly, does not leave messages on voice mail
