Leave a CommentThey said my computer was hacked and they needed me to follow some steps, like run a program that he wanted to walk me through in order to fix it. Fake as*****. Shut down the computer and install a virus scan and protection software immediately.
Said to download a program that would give him full access to my laptop.....scammer.
They have a pop-up that's meant to deceive. No reputable business acts like ransom-ware and directs you to a phone line. Please if you're viewing this because you think the number is suspect, go with your gut you are correct!
