yea Reliant Capital Solutions I think is the name. there a legit debt collector. Im from VA and had a student loan that actually was disbursed from the school ECPI. After I left the school I didnt pay on it and it went to collections. Its like 12% interest I been paying on it since 08 and its went down barely 2000. My suggestion is to follow up with them to see what you owe. Im looking to get a loan so i can get a better interest rate cus its ridiculous
Got a call at 1 30 pm on january 20 2010, never heard of the company or what they do till i found this website. ***. I owe them nothing. im paying student loans off through another company.
RCS has been calling my office every day this week because I am one payment behind. I made arrangements with Mr. Lofton to pay it on Friday and everything was fine. Today is Thursday at 9:30am and I have already received 2 calls that tomorrow is too late and if I can't make the payment today it will be turned in for garnishment. They are still answering their phone saying that they are connected with the Attorney General (not true). I am unsure as to what I should do. I have talked to 2 managers and they are not helpful. They are now saying that the 2 people I spoke to and made arrangements with (the other is Ms. Cruise) are new and didn't know that Friday would be too late. How could they not know if it was in their system that today was the cut-off date? I guess their employees do not know how to read. I am very frustrated because I have worked very hard over the last year to clean up mt credit report and they are about to destroy it a***n. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?
Hope karma rains down on you ... you have some audacity to leave threatening phone messages at the wrong number ... even when you have the benefit of voicemail identifying the phone's owner.CLUE: John doesn't sound like Desmond
we received a call from reliant capital saying they are with the Ohio attorney generals office. I asked if they were a ***nch, and this Mr. Lass said yes. They demanded for $1600, I am on unemployment, my girlfriend went from a $1,000 per week to $800 per month. We are on foodstamps, HEAP, and HIP. Plus she pays child support. A two week check bring home was $108. Child support just got lowered by a judge. She offered them $5-10 per month, he flat refused, and asked about her income tax return, she said the IRS get's it cause she was 1099 self employed. RELIANT THEN TELLS HER FINE WE WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT, SUE YOU AND GARNISH YOUR WAGES, AND TAKE YOUR NEXT 2 YEARS INCOME TAX RETURNS. My girlfriend told him that he needs to be in our s***s for 6 months, so he can see what it is like. She also told him we are below federal poverty level, and with child support, he won't garnish anything. Mr. Lass became mad. There was no cooperation, sympathy, nothing, just rudeness and threatening. I called the state inspector generals office they had received a complaint that morning also, a***nst Reliant. I sent strong letter to Governor and law makers, they are looking into the matter. We need to get companies like this, there contract terminated, so they can not call acting like they are with the AG's office or in their official capacity, if they want to say they are acting under color of law, then we should be able to file greivances a***nst them, and violations of standards of employees conduct rules and regulation, plus Ohio Revised code 124.34 for malfeasance actions. Plus possible violations of the Fair Debt Collections Act, see page 9, section 806http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf
It's Reliant calling, they are a collection agency hired by someone like the University of P***nix to collect a debt that they say you owe. As long as you are making payments there is nothing they can do. But they do harrass you. I originally made arangements with them for checking account deduction for 6 payments, s****ing the 1st of the month, for 6 months. They tried to take all 6 payments out on the 30th, the day before the originally agreed on date. ****ed me off. So now I just mail them a check about 5 days before it's due and they're still ****ed they aren't getting all the money owed at once. Whatever....just don't answer.

I recieved the same telephone call from a rude man on my job November 6, 2008. I explained to him that I was at work and could not talk.I asked for his telephone number so I could call him back when I got home. I told him that I would make a payment on November 7, 2008. The **** hole on the telephone asked for my credit card information. I told him that I forgot my purse at home. Then he got rude and s****ed ****ing on the phone. He refused to provide a telephone number. He got loud & nasty with me & ***g the telephone up on me. I only owe $230. Please help me
I got a call from 866-547-5413 ext *108, when I got home tried to call back of course after 630pm(working) it just says to leave a message no name at all, they are crazy to think people are going to just leave a message much less no mail about anything in collections,U of Phx mails a mnthly statment and I have been dealing with them . To funny and I do bill collecting,Not the happiest of people but to stop calls put it in writing and mail it and with work just say don't call me at work and that is the end of it.there are laws they have to follow and no harrasmnt is a big one as well as 3rd party ex: once speak to you, they can only 2 times a weeks but a msg ma****e does not count so you may get calls daily until they speak to you.
I recieved a call at my P/T residence and my cell. The number on the caller ID was 614-452-6097. A msg was lft by a Rose Delancey @ Ext: *112. It sounded like she said that she was with Reliance & her C/B was 1-866-547-5413. Since 614 is an Ohio area code, and I have no business ties to Ohio, I was a little confused by the msg. Does anyone know what this could be related to?? Ms. Delancey gave no clue in her msg.
The message I received from 866-547-5413 was from RCS Administrative Wage Review Department asking me to dial extension *119 and ask for Miss Howard.
I receive calls from 614-452-6097 and several other numbers with 614 exc****e every day, several times a day at work. Every now and then they will leave a message but the few times they do leave messages, one is from Reliant Capital and the other is from Wage Garnishment. Wage Garnishment tries to intimidate you to the extreme. Is this legal?
Calling on behalf of University of P***nix, regarding a student loan returned to lender, for which student was responsible to pay back. Student was advised, by phone message, to ask for Ms. Avey at extension 115. It was then, student was advised that Reliant, had been obtained by University of P***nix, to collect a debt. Up until that time, caller did not identify themselves, and switchboard operator, refused to divulge anything other than it was Reliant calling.
