I listened to their entire pitch and they claimed they were from us bank, I don't think it is spam I think it is a scam. they find who you have a service from and claim to be from there.

I get calls from this everyday and it'd very anoyying ... I'm pretty sure there telemarketers

Thanks for the opt-out number. I never knowingly set the preferences they described!! Anyway my MO with all unsolicited calls is to find out who they are, then if it's not important, ask them to hold and walk away from the phone until they give up and I hear the phone beeping. With any luck this gets me on some kind of blacklist and they don't call a***n.

I finally answered one and told them "she isn't here, can I take a message" (which is my standard for unknown numbers that keep calling) - he responded with the fact that it wasn't an emergency (which had never crossed my mind) and he would call back.After looking around more on-line, I found you can call this number and have your number removed from further offers - take only a moment to follow the prompts.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS!!

Ugh. I work for Wells Fargo Bank and I know that we are (at least I am)extreeeeemely careful about calling our customers. If they say, "Sure! Call me!" but I fail to have them sign the consent form, I can't call them based on a verbal okay.This is horrible. I'll call them today.

I will check with Wells Fargo.  These callers are very rude.  When I ask who is calling, they simply **** up.

This anonymous calling goes on all the time. What for, is beyond me. I won't answer the phone when no one speaks. There was some slight whispering. Which is bizarre .

I get the same calls. They're ALL affiliated through my mortgage company... Wells Fargo. I've fired off several nasty emails to their customer service dept. demanding them to cease-and-desist. Just called the Customer Preference Line at the number Rick provided.  It only took a minute to c****e our preference.  Hopefully we will not receive more calls tomorrow.

Is it normal though that when I call the above number as suggested, that they ask for your SS number in order to get them to stop?

I thought the National Do Not Call database to supposed to stop these unwanted solicition calls.

These offers are NOT in your best interest -- the insurance is overpriced and your acceptance will get you more solicitor calls.  Do what Rick (comment above) suggests and call 1-888-528-8460 and the calls will stop.  (Thanks, Rick!!)

several calls - no message; comes up as "800 service" on caller ID; after reading the comments - it appears to be Wells Fargo - who my mortgage is through but still I do not answer!

People don't understand that not answering the phone with daily calls, 3 more today, are ******.  Get calls almost daily from this number.  WISE UP!

Second call today.  Get them almost daily.  This **** needs to be stopped.  Obviously they aren't smart enough to know that when no one ever answers that there calls are not wanted!  If I needed whatever they are selling I would call them.
