Leave a CommentCalled my cell phone but did not leave a message
they just called me a***n telling me about my credit card account and the amount on it (witch i dont have a credit card account) and they asked for my social security number and full name. i said "It is" and ***g up. like im going to tell them!
Couldn't understand who or what this person wanted. They said they knew the last four digits of my social secutiry number..said the numbers over the phone and asked me if they were right and I told them that It was none of there business what my social security number was. Said this was an important bussiness matter. Very Rude Person.
This company makes calls to everyone in your neighborhood trying to get your phone number and your cell number. They lie to your neighbors telling them that there is a warrant for your arrest and they are trying to help you avoid being arrested. Or they present themselves and their agency as part of the law enforement department. When asked which department they have replied with court officer, police department, etc. They are NOT part of the law enforcement department. This company will call your work and leave messages and if you do not return their call they will zero out and ask to speak to your supervisor, manager or director. They will tell management that you have a warrant for your arrest and that you need to call them right away to avoid having the police come to your work and arrest you. (lie) This company trains their people to use any means to contact you and get as much information as possible. The Northland Group will try and collect on bills of any kind that are outstanding and if they collect on a bill where the collect time has run out all the money they collect belongs to them. Their employees get bonuses based on the collected bills.I realized that people need to work but working for this company is a bad reflection upon each employee. If you have a bad debt and can pay it do so. If it is a bill that is very old it has been written off by holder. These are itemized on that company's tax return. The only thing that suffers on these is your credit rating.Next time this company calls you let them know you are reporting them to the phone company and labeling their calls as harrassment calls, file a report with the BBB, call the PUC and make a report, make sure you include how they are id'ing themselves and their company. The PUC can have all their phone service pulled.
This is the "Northland Group". As I refused to provide identifying information to some random caller out of the blue, they wouldn't tell me anything about themselves other than their name. However, from looking around the web, I have determined that they are a collection agency. Their website is http://www.northlandgroup.com/ - they don't have a fax number listed on their website, but they did provide one to the NC Department of Insurance when they registered. I'm about to fax them a Cease and Desist - you may want to do the same. The number fax is:952-831-7356
Called on my cell phone asking for Kim when I asked for the last name he would not say. I asked who was calling he gave his name I do not remember. And said he was with the Dannon Corp. Was rued.
Ok now we know who these idiots are how by law can we keep them from calling a***n?
They have called me a couple of times today. I finally answered the 3rd time and they ***g up without saying a word! I linked onto their website given by Tim and thought about sending them an email, then reconsidered. That's the last thing I need from them! 50 emails or so. Is there a way to block them from your phone or so****ing that can be done to get them not to call you a***n? I think they are inquiring about my sister, which I don't think is right.
said it was a business matter, wouldn't give any other info.
This group called my number. They ***g up before I answered. Going to freak them out when they call me back.
They just called my cell phone and asked for somebody, when I said "excuse me?" because I didn't hear them they huffed and ***g up!!
called here looking for someone who doesn't live here with a similar name....and then became very rude and ***g up.
This company, Northland Group, searches public records in an attempt to find anyone who knows the person they are looking for. They do credit card debt collections. I cannot imagine it is ethical to call anyone but the person they are looking for.
http://www.northlandgroup.com/Here's their website. They're hiring and offer training, bennies, and a "20% commssion structure"!!
They left a message on my work voice mail and told me that I needed to contact them regarding a personal business matter. They mentioned that they were in Minnesota and actually gave an address but I was not smart enough to write it down. So I googled the number and found this place.
Received a call from 866-572-8957 about a "business matter". They would not provide any more information then that.
This number has been on my caller ID 15 times in the last week, but no message has been left. I retuned call with a *67 before the phone number, but it did not block my caller ID because they said we are trying to reach *** at your number, (they recited my phone number). I did not know the person they were looking for, but they said they were "Northland Group" and were trying to collect a debt.
Very rude people there. I said she doesn't live here and if she did I wouldn't tell you, stranger were to find here. He ***g up instantly. I had alrrady Googled the phone number and found out they were dunners ( credit collections). You should always return these calls with *67 before the phone number to block caller ID.
This number came up on my CID and the guy asked for someone but I couldn't understand him so I asked, "Who?" and he ***g up on me.
this is Northland Collections they say that because they they have to protect there customers rights
They called and ask for someone of my famly members and said i need to talk to them because its a personal business matter. I said for what he said its a personal business matter i told him that if u cant tell me u cant talk to my famly meembers and if u call back i will have u arrested. and he said how and i said u gave to much info to me by a number i can trace ur location and dram a 10meter cirel around u by gps and fallow u and turn it into the cops. and he ***g up. so i think its a fraud person.
