received to charges on my credit card from Mexico and reported it at once to credit card company. this has happened before and got cleared up quickly. hope it's cleared up a***n rather quickly
Automatically charged me one month before my protection ended. I would have continued to have them as my security for my internet, pc and notebooks, however if you can not trust them to at least wait until the bill is actually due then they have to go. They charged me one month before I was expecting it and as a result my account was overdrawn. I keep only the funds I am going to spend in that particular account specifically so that if someone steals the card or hacks into it I will not lose much. Now I have the cost of an overdrawn withdrawl, the pain of deciding what security program to switch to, and I am very disappointed in their business practices. And you are suppose to trust this company? I do not think so! I thought they had a good product, to bad they blew it with poor and untrustworthy business practices.
McAfee charged my account $69.99 and I have had no connection w / them since 2003.... how is this possible. At any rate I cancelled my card and the bank is looking into the issue. I called McAfee and they said that they do not see where I was charged.... and I was charged. So my suggestion to anyone who might be reading this is to contact the Better Business Bureau in their area and report this company for charging for product and/ or services not rendered.... I did...!
Just received my credit card statement and have been charged an amount of £54.99 forso****ing I did not ask for.
Checked bank account to see a debit of 525.82 for mcafee.com. cant get ahold of them because office hours are closed.
Call them
Didnt get a call they just took £64 out of my account without me knowing and this number was left, how do i get my money back?
I was checking my account today and noticed that McAfee made an unauthorized charge of $74.89 today. I immediately called the number that was next to the unauthorized charge, 866-622-3911, and spoke with someone about the issue and demanded a refund. They told me that they automatically renew subscriptions (mine doesn't expire until the end of March), but I have had McAfee before and they have never automatically renewed any of my subscriptions. I should receive my refund in 5 working days. I will never use McAfee a***n after this experience.Jan Röman: Call 866-622-3911 and select #2 to speak with someone for a refund. They ask you a bunch of questions on why you want to cancel the automatic subscription, how happy you are with the service, etc, but you will get a refund. Hope that helps.
I was charged 289.99 USD absolute without my knowledge. How can I get the money back?
No phone call was made, however, I recently was reviewing my credit card statement to find that Mcafee charged me 84.79 for what I gather was a annual subscription. Funny, I haven't used Mcafee in over two years. Called the number 866-622-3911, the second option is for a refund. They must get this often. Maybe they should think about c****ing their business strategy. I certainly will never use them a***n.
never asked for this nor was ever called--bill just showed up on my credit card bill--always read your creditcard statements!!!
McAfee has charged me for £42.49 on the 2 Nov '09 after looking at my credit card bill ref 866-622-3911. Apparently someone was using the email address which is similar to mine and renewed the virus scanner automatically from my credit card. What a scam !!! I am getting my money back in 5 working days.
Mcafee charged me for virus protection on a computer I don't use.
