Leave a CommentDitto...Eric Hernandez, State Process Server.....blah blah blah....trying to serve someone I've never heard of. Called from (888)237-1065.
Ditto..., Eric Hernandez, State Process Server, fraudulent check charge, court summons, call legal department at (866) 636-1527. Company willing to work out payment plan. The message was left for daughter who has not resided at this address for years. Creepy he listed last 4 digits SSN, but did not know current address. Also, she uses a local bank, overdraft protection, and would have received a notice from bank if a check did not clear.
Got a call from a dude calling himself Eric Hernandez. He said he was a state process server. He said the matter was so****ing to do with a fraudulant check. I have a checking account but I haven't actually written a check in over 4 years. He also had the last four digits of my SSN and my old address, so that was pretty creepy. The whole thing sounds like b.s. to me. I have a friend who is a lawyer I'll be talking with him about the matter to see what he thinks.
Recieved a call from a Chris Garcia stating he had been uptained to serve me with summons for bad checks... but the proceeds to give me a number of 866-636-1527 to call and give case #257559... when i asked who was suing me he said he only had limited info... now someone hired you to serve me with papers and you dont know how they are... Yeah okay and Im supposed to take you serious...
Someone named Christian Garcia called my aunt's house and left a message on her voicemail. The case # was 6 digits, and also ended in 252. First of all, I'm trying to figure how in the world they got my aunt's number. Secondly, I haven't had a bank account in 3 years, so how could I have written a bad check recenly? The man also stated at the end of his message that I had been served. Should I be worried?
This so called persona Melanie Stewart also called my 16 year old sons employment. He does not have a checking account. He works as a dishwasher. The staff at the restaurant took the message stating that it was a legal issue with a case #215448. They also said they could not reach him at home. There has not been any missed messages or caller id with that number. This is a scam. But sure had my son worried. But where did they get his work number??? I've tried calling back several times but only get a ma****e. Beware...there are crazy people in this world who would rather scam another human then work for there own well being.
I received a very similar message. They used my maiden name, which I haven't used in about 5 years. She asked to meet with me as well to deliver a summons. She said her name was Melanie Stewrat. and she was a state process server. I was being taken to court over a fraudulent check that was filed sometime this morning. I haven't had a bank account in about 4 years. The case number she gave me was also a 6 digit number s****ing with 252. At the end of the voicemail, she said that I have officially been notified. If I am not mistaken, doesn't officially notified imply that I have unquestionably received the notification, like in person or by certified mail? So****ing sounds fishy! Sounds to me like a SCAM!!
Hello Susan,Would that case number be #254356? Or some variation of that number?? The reason why I'm asking is my grandmother just notified me that she received the very same call for me. She's in Hawaii, I'm in Oregon. Same as you, I currently don't have a checking account and haven't had one for 4 years. Not only that but I have not listed my grandmother as a point of any contact for over 6 years.
Received a call on my cell from some woman requesting that I meet with her so she can serve me a summons regarding a bad check. I don't have a checking account and have not had one for many years. Even listed a case number. Who in their right mind would meet someone to receive a summons?
