This number has called my cell phone numerous times over the last couple of weeks at various times during the day and evening. Four calls today. If I answer the call disconnects. If I don't answer there is no message left. And when I try to call the number, there is no connection or answering service.

I tried to file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registery. The phone number was registered on 06/01/2008 and has 31 days to call people. After July 1st if anyone receives calls, you can file a complaint with Do Not Call Registery.

I called them back and an answering ma****e says the company name is Strategic Marketing Enterprises in Glendale, AZ and they are calling me about subscribing to my local paper. The message then instructs you to press 1 and enter your phone number if you do not wish to be called a***n. I entered my number and the ma****e then said my number would be removed from their list within 48 hours. I have continued to receive calls from this number, and when I answer they **** up. I'm****uming they are telemarketers but they don't talk; they just **** up and call a***n, and **** up and call a***n. Maybe just making sure it's a working number and/or to see if we are a business or residential. But how many calls does it take to figure that out?!?
