These people have called every day for 3wks now, sometimes twice a day. Give up already.

Number is displayed Toll Free Call on my caller idea. Calls morning, noon and night, weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, Always ****s up on Answering ma****e. This Sa****ay morning I was woken up, so I called back, and its the American Cancer Society. if you press 1 and then 3 you can be removed from their awful phone list.

My number is listed on the Do Not Call registry so I shouldn't be receiving calls from the American Cancer Society.

i get calls from this number at all hours of the day and night. whenever i pick up there is no one on the line.

The ACS calls me every day and I want them to stop calling.

They call day/nite/weekends and leave no message. If they truely the Amer Cancer Society I will never contribute a***n.

A ma****e answers and very clearly states that it is the American Cancer Society and they are sorry they missed my call, etc. Approximately two years ago, I requested that they take my name off their list. They agreed to do so at the time but obviously they are now calling and disguising their iden***y. This makes me angry as in August I made a contribution to them on behalf of a relative. Never a***n with these type of tactics. They wake me up and are a general nuisance.

I have seen this number come up many times on my caller ID. They never leave a message and I will not answer without some ID.

Calls daily. Never any message nor is anyone on line when we answer. It is extremely annoying. We are on the do not call list. Caller ID just shows Toll Free.

Calls every day at various times. Does not leave a message. It is annoying and an invasion of my privacy. If it is indeed the American Cancer Society, they will no longer receive my donations.

Says they are American Cancer Society wanting me to address and mail fundraising letters to my neighbors. Told her I'm too busy taking care of my husband, who has cancer. (true) Hope she feels bad enough to stop this foolishness.

They call everyday! It's obnoxious.

This company claims to be a debit collector. I have a credit score well above 800 and I live virtually debit free. So I know exactly who I owe and how much and that nothing is late, never mind in collections. This so called "financial recoverey company" inquires about your past spending habbits and then attempts to get your social security number!!! Staying educated, I knew better upon speaking to a "representative" and would not pony up the info. He was not happy and promptly ended the call. BEWARE!!!!!!

Numerous phone calls that don't event resond if I answer. I'm on the do not call list and I don't want them calling me.

Phone rings and no one is on the calling line. If this is from the American Cancer Society they ought to be ashamed of using such offensive calling techniques.

Calls and when I answer the phone they **** up. So much for the "Do not call programs".

They are calling every 15 minutes, and they dont speak if I answer and they dont **** up. After I **** up immediately I get an unknown call. Then 15 minutes later it begins agin every day all day from 8:21am until 8:48pm. The number c****es every half hour but the pattern isthe same, toll free service ad unknown.

A worthy cause. It stinks that they hide their iden***y. I have contributed to them many times in past years. But UI don't answer unidentified calls. They have locked themselves out of a contribution by this foolish tactic (although I probably already contributed to a mailing).

When they call they don't leave a message and when I do pick up there is never anyone there.

We have an answering ma****e and they don't leave a message, so I****ume it is not a legitimate charity or organization. The reason I have caller ID is because I am not interested in screening telemarketing calls, however, if they were indeed honorable they should leave a message

This party calls and leaves no kind of a message. This type of calls is what I call total harassment. So this type calls should be blocked and fined for calling this way.

Received 3 calls one day and yes****ay I picked up. Caller said American Cancer Society wanting me to mail out letters to my neighbors. Told them I will not do their fund raising (did once) and to stop calling me. They ignore my request.

Receive 5 calls a day from this number. I don't answer because it comes up unknown. Now I suspect it is a telemarketer.

I have received several calls from this anonymous number during the last few months!

I am an American Cancer Society volunteer and I am very upset to read that this organization supports automatic phone dialing. As others have written, you may call this # (dial 1 first) and request your number be removed. Bad karma for ACS!!

I do not appreciate receiving a phone call from any "blind #." Why do they not leave a message? Who are they? We have "No-Call," and should be protected! Right?

Yet another call from an unknown caller. I don't answer because I have Caller ID.

Calls often. I don't answer but pick up phone call, lay phone down and then walk away. Tired of their calls. Sometimes call 4 times a day.

Caller asks for Frances, won't leave message, won't say who's calling.

For weeks we have received several calls from this number, but when one answers, there is no one there. It is driving us crazy!

If you call this number back, you hear a recording claiming that the call is on behalf of the American Cancer Society. There is a menu option in which you can opt to be removed from their calling list "in 30 days." We shall see... (In the meantime, ACS has gone on my charities blacklist.)

We receive as many as 4 calls a day, some days, with no one on the line. This has been going on for some time.
