They call me everyday for someone I don't know. I have asked them many times to stop calling and nothing has worked

Yes, the same woman Maria call my mobile and leave message, saying "She intented to collect information and just for that purpose. Please call back". Thanks for sharing from other posts. I will just ignore that call.

This number belongs to CBCS Debt Collectors. One of many addresses are: 6501 Arlington Expressway, Suite A-20, Jacksonvill, Fla. 32211. Their email address is: [email protected]. Write or send email to STOP the calls to your number. They have called me repeatedly for someone else despite the fact I have told them over and over they are calling the WRONG number. Next step is to report them to the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov...good luck everyone.

I got a call from Henry Jones claiming to be a Bank Fraud Investigator wanting to speak to an unknown person regarding an open bank fraud investigation. 800-955-4285 his extention is 2025.

This # has shown up on our caller ID several times over the past week - when I attempted to call today, it stated "Thank you for calling, all of our representatives are busy****isting other callers, your call is very important, the next available representative will be with you shortly", and then a few seconds later the line is disconneted.  When I tried calling last night, the line was constantly busy.

I have been disputing this bill for 2 yrs.  Don't give up.  Verizon gets ****ed off when you go to another carrier and according to ALL of my notes from Verizon CRS's (which should be posted but odds are they are NOT) I am in the clear.  GO BACK TO VERIZON AND MAKE SURE THEY PRODUCE TAPES NOT TRANSCRIPTS OF ALL TELEPHONE CALLS TO VERIFY CONVERSATIONS.  This is a collection agency who has absolutely not record of VERIZON conversations.

This place is a NIGHTMARE - CBCS/Verizon Collection Agency. They have left, seriously, over 50 messages on our answering ma****e for someone we don't know -- and we've lived here for 8 years. Clicked the number to say that person doesn't live here at least 6 times. Auto-call back via *69 won't work -- you gotta call 'em back, wait forever to get an attendant to tell them the person does not reside here. Ridiculous. I am on the national DNC Do Not Call list, and they have no right to call as I have no biz relationship with them. They SAY they removed me from the list but I am filing complaints with the DMA and other orgs first thing in the morning. Obnoxious! Google "Verizon CBCS Ripoff" for more.

I'm stuck wondering if a call from CBCF, a Maria,  is a prank call, and should be ignored, or if I should take the trouble of calling back to find out who they're looking for and have them remove my name from their list. How does one ascertain that this is a real company/genuine caller.

They are calling relentlessly leaving an automated message trying to collect from someone we do not know. They refuse to remove number from call list even though they have wrong number

Many calls, last one a woman's voice said they were trying to collect bill. Many times said if this is not ____ please **** up, have done so still calls.

It's all over the internet that the number 866-658-9360 belongs to an iden***y theft/scam operation. How long does it take to shut criminals like this down...enough already!

It's a verizon number. They kept calling for an amber whitford... i got my number deleted thankfully

A person who does not speak the English Language well at all. I have a hard time getting to the telephone. If the Answering ma****e picks up the call, they want information about John somebody whos' name they do not*****ounce. They are either debt collectors or criminals wanting information. I am on a do not call list but this number keeps calling even when I am sleeping. I need my rest if I am to live a little longer. Cann't they shut these type of intruders down so I can have my rest. They are not welcome to call my house. I wish someone could help.

They claim to be CBCS Debt Collection Company, but I am not sure. I am fairly confident that they are calling my number for someone who had this number before, as I haven't had this number very long at all, but I am afraid to answer or call this # back and tell them, as many people have reported them as a very rude company who just want your personal info, ss#, bank info, etc., and don't stop til they get it, whether you owe them or not. Many claim they also try to collect on fraudulent debts you never owed.

Received a call with a recorded message stating they were attempting to collect a debt. I have an unlisted number and I do not behind on my bills.

Just who was the **** that bothers all the people?? I forgot to update my new # with the Do Not Call Registry, so I did that yes****ay after receiving so many calls from four different 800/866 numbers in the past six days! These immature callers!!

caller ID reads "not available"...I received several calls a day from this number with no message left after three rings. I'm disabled and have difficulty getting to the phone as it is for calls I need to answer...w***ver is calling from this number needs to stop!

What happened to the do-not call list, these people keep calling and the Gov does not do a thing to stop them, they call non-stop it is very annoying, I am sick and tired of their BS.

they should get it, they called several times a day looking for people who are unknown to us, i think they are thieves.

They called last night at 8:05 pm and they just keep calling, this number is on the do not call list, so they have to stop calling, I'm sick of the calls.

Have been getting calls during the day for the past 3 weeks, 3 times a week. Tonight got one at 8:49 and they ***g up before I could to my CELL phone. Yes, they are calling my cell. The number is on the do not call list and I am heading to that sight next to try to report it. I am tired of the **** ups and the calls.

We are on the Do Not Call list but it seems the government doesn't enforce it. We have rec'd numerous calls from this phone number. We have come to recognize the male voice on the recording and we **** up as soon as we here the first word (hello).

Got a call asking for me. When I said that I was not available, it said that it was an important business matter and I should call a given number.  It makes the call sound as though they are a collection agency and that you are in trouble.

Calls periodically and does not leave a message.

asking for someone who doesn't live at our address, had the same last name as ours but not the first. numerous other calls were ****ups and when they did leave a message, they said they were trying to collect a debt.
