Received letter in the mail with my actual closing date, mortgage amount and lender name. Wants me to call this number with a bogus morgtage ID. SCAMMER!! No way will I respond.

Received letter in mail pretending to be from my new mortgage lender, sent right as I would be expecting new loan information from them, requesting I call them urgently. Scam.

I decided to check the number here and I'm so lucky and did before actually trying to call them a***n.

They prominently referenced my bank's name in at least two places on the mail. Also used the logo of Equal Housing Authority. This stuff should be flagrantly illegal and the postal authorities should prosecute vigorously.

The return address is PO Box 54515 Jacksonville, FL 32245 RE: ‘name of my mortgage company’ The inside says the same as previous comments: We have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call (866) 663-7459. Thank You, The Mortgage Service Center The Mortgage ID number is incorrect and so is the closing date.
