Got the same letter from "Laura Shane, Vice President" on "US Airlines - Fly the US Skies" requiring a response to the 866 phone number by 1/19. The letter states that several attempts to call were met without success. If they tried calling, I probably ***g up on them, as I do immediately if a person does not respond right away. Interestingly, the plain white envelope, with no return address and using a postage stamp, appears to be hand-addressed. It arrived in western Michigan. Has all the smells of a scam. I have already shredded both the letter and envelope.

If this was legit, it would have been printed on company letterhead. It doesn't help that US Aitlines is not a company. I received this in the mid Michigan area.

Same Letter. My last name was spelled wrong....the same way comcast cable co. spelled my name when I signed up. They sold my name to someone who may have sold it to someone else.

I received the same letter from Laura Shane Vice President. Neither her letter nor her envelope had any "return address" to her company. That's su****ious. She didn't provide any email address either. Since she obviously knew my name & address ('that' was all typed on her letter!), why not simply mail the tickets to me? I resent being asked to "respond no later than January 12, 2011 or miss out on this $1400 value to someone else. That's clearly manipulative in my opinion!

Same as everyone else. Of course there isn't an US Airlines. Not going to call either. My guess its for a time share or so****ing like that.

Same letter here too. Looks legit, but apparently I'm not that lucky. Oh well.

Same letter from Laura Shane VP. I must reply by 1/12/11. Said she attempted to contact me several times. If I do not respond, she may need to issue the ticket vouchers to the alternate.

Received a letter from US Airlines saying I "have qualified for an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets." and that I should call. Signed by Laura Shane (Vice President)
