Got a call from this number, and they said it was for a blood drive!

I just got a dead silence call from this #...I know someone who developed software for collection agencies - the way the dialer ma****e works is that it's always calling people to have on the "ready" list - the "ready" list can never be empty.  If an operator becomes available the software throws the call to that operator.  If a "preset" time elapses it will **** up on you so as to not keep you waiting to the point of being too upset.That's the reason for the silence and the eventual ****up or the****ential connecting with an operator.

They call me every single morning at 8:47AM.  When I used to pick up it was silence, then dial tone.  Now I just consider it my morning wake up call.  Hey, not a bad free service if you think about it ;)

Keep getting calls from 1-866-759-8002 and when we answer there is dead silence.  After a few seconds of saying "hello" the phone disconnects????

A Canton-based direct marketing firm. You can add your # to their internal DNC list. Then they say it takes up to 36 hours to remove your # from "all call lists."

Busy, busy, busy and this joker calls at the worst time. And we are on the "Do Not Call" list. How can a person ever finally STOP these harrassing telemarketing calls?
