Leave a CommentPhishing scam. Indian based company trying to rip me off by popping a dialog when I was surfing the net using Safari Browser.
They did not call me, but a popup says to call, Safari has been compromised. IT IS A SCAM. Hotline gets you to download malware so that they can ***n control. Then they tell you to buy software, but they sell it, and they insist that you do not buy it through Apple Stores. To make it go away, force quit Safari, and then hold down shift as you res**** Safari. Then, go to Safari>Preferences>Privacy>Remove All Website Data
Phishing scam attacks Safari browser, gives this ph# saying it's Apple & only they can help.
