Enough already with the kvet****g. Does anyone have a way to stop these calls or to report them to someone? Or better yet, how to ***** them at their own game?

This number called me on 7/25. In the past two weeks I have received calls from at least 6 numbers. They call, not recognizing the number I do not pick up, they do not leave a message, I make note of the number, then search it on Google leading me to sites as these. All have mentioned "auto warranty" in connection with each of these numbers. Here are the related numbers, some numbers called back to back in the same day, dates indicate below indicate the date the number last called:

They call several times a day trying to see a car warranty. I don't have the name of the company. I don't know how to make it stop!

They have already been sued by the FTC and prosecuted by the MO Attn Gen-- I am surprised they are still at it. I stopped the calls with a DNS attack using Telix-- It can shut em down and they know it. http://www.telix.com/delta/deltacom/tfd/index.html I used Kubuntu and a serial modem.

When you answer it is an automated message about a soon-to-expire car warrenty. It's a scam to steal personal information. If you press "1" to talk to a real person they ask for your make and model of vehicle. Eventually they try to ask for your VIN number and other personal info. DON'T BE FOOLED. They are not legit. If you ask any questions they **** up on you. I told the guy that I had an Astin Martin V12 vanquish and that it was my husband James Bond's car. It took him a few minutes to figure out I was messing with him. Don't bother pressing "2" to be removed from their call list. It doesn't do anything accept let them know that your phone number is a valid, working number. Best advice, just don't answer the phone if you don't know the number. Also if you try and call them back, the number is usually disconnected because they use a scrambler. I like to answer just so I can mess with them.

Calling about auto warranty at our business phone. Called number and got a rep on phone. Claims that the business name is DEALER SERVICES. When asked about location could only get Nationwide. They ask for a make and model of car. I told them I was bugging them since they bug us at work each day and they ***g up. Perhaps solution is calling them daily and wasting THEIR TIME!

Same thing, mother #%$# company trying to sell me a car warrantee. Now it comes in as an "Unknown" number as well as various numbers all over the US, but the same offender. I finally was able to talk to someone and when I tried to talk to them, they ***g up on me. Up to about 15 calls on my cell all day and night times.

These ****s continue to call me repeatedly on both my home phone and cell phone throughout the day and every time I try to use Option 2 to be removed from their list, an error conveniently occurs. When I attempt to speak to a "service specialist", they **** up on me if I do not show interest in what they are selling. No goodbye, just ****S UP. The recording keeps telling me that "this is the last warning that my car warranty will expire". This has been the 20th "last warning" I have gotten. If I find out who they are (company name) there will be a law suit for harassment and reporting them to BBB. This is ridiculous.

There is nothing anyone can do. It is just like a crime, they are presummed innocent until proven guilty. No one has the time to invest in this ****.

I tried to get it stopped on my cell phone by pressing 2-- no luck, now they call my home and **** up on my answering ma****e. Maybe we should all use an auto-dialer daemon to call THEM?

this number continues to call my phone and when I connect to a CSR they laugh and **** up when asked to identify themselves and their company. I did manage to remove my number through a option on their voicemail saying my number would be removed.

"How did they get my cell number in the first place?" Probably using a "war dialer" software that calls random numbers and lets it ring till they get an answer ma****e or voice mail to add to their lists. Its annoying, I pay by the minute and have to clear voice mail weekly now. Ill keep calling them back till they stop. I bet they are located overseas.

Calls my number periodically. The first time, when I answered it, it was a recorded message having to do with vehicle warranties. I don't own a vehicle. The second time it called, I didn't pick up. Roughly a two to four week interval between calls.

This is the second time I have recieved a call from this number. They claim that my car warranty is expired or set to expire. I spoke with a representative, and they tried to put the pressure on me to purchase an extended warranty, claiming that they had already sent me literature concerning my options. When I asked for time to think the telemarketer tried to pressure me into making my mind up over the phone on the spot, which was obviously an attempt to get my personal info and credit card info.

I'm also not happy telemarketers can call my cell. I pay buy the minute on this thing! They even left me a message from an automated ma****e. Lame.

No other info. was given about the company or who they were. Its annoying because my boyfriend is in Iraq and sometimes he uses calling cards and weird numbers show up.
