Leave a CommentI received several calls a day from these people. I do not own a vehicle that needs a warranty.
1-866-791-9872 some pushy credit company wanting to lower my credit card rates but wanted me to tell them my credit card number - no way I said. Her name was Cecelia Copeland or so she said it was.
Called in AM and when I answered the phone, there was nothing there. This is discusting to wakeup individuals just to answer un unknown phone and getting no answer. This afternoon, I got a cell phone call from these people, a recording saying "this is my second notice to get my car warranty..." I thought it was illegal to call people on their paid by card cell phone. I pay for every minute, or at least one minute, for each ****** call. I have the cell phone on me for emergencies only, not for paid advertizing.
Credit line Gold card...I believe they got my husband's financial information from the credit bureau and claimed that they could help us reduce the APR on our current cards for having a perfect credit. The only catch to this was providing the 1-800 number and the credit card number over the phone. I felt so****ing fishy and refused to provide any information and ***g up the phone.
just call...no messages
is this a fraud they keep calling please some one do so****ing, help :(
Six calls today, s****ing at 8 am.
Called three times in one morning. I picked up the third time to see what their scam was. Obviously a calling-center "boiler room," judging by the din of other conversations in the background. Guy said they were "Credit First Financial Solutions" (no trace of such a company on the Internet). He offered me lower credit card rates if my "payment history is current." That's where the fishing for personal information s****ed: what credit cards did I have? And that's where the conversation stopped. On another web site, someone has reported that "First Financial Solutions" promised him a credit card, withdrew ***dreds of dollars from his bank account (obviously, with information he provided over the phone), and never sent the card: www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/007/RipOff0007868.htm
Have called numerous times, despite my asking them not to call back when they refuse to state their company name or why they are calling.
