Spectrum spam

I’ve never had service from Spectrum, and they sent me the same notice. I use the app “Number Guru” to check the phone numbers such notices provide: (866) 809-1062 has a spam score of “100%”

I received a call from an automated message telling me to call this number when I did they told me they were a debt collection service and I owed a credit card debt. They had my address, date of birth, email address, and the last four digits of my social. They tried to get me to pay a debt I didn’t recognize, THIS IS A SCAM!! Do not give them your money.

Says to call about a spectrum debt

Message is a screen**** saying I owe money to spectrum and is a debt collector, and gives this number to call.

Calls and texts all day claiming to be a debt collector for Spectrum. I currently have Spectrum and have been****ured that my account is in good standing and I actually have a credit.

And now they have link in the text now. DON'T CLICK IT. I clicked it and don't know if it downloaded virus on my phone.

They stated: “Please contact MRS****oc. regarding a SPECTRUM matter at (866) 809-1062. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. MRS is a debt collector”

The message claims to be about a debt, claiming to be a collection agency. But I've have a Direct TV account, which it claims. But real proof it's a scam is the text was sent in an image format to prevent filtering. I have also notices that many others have gotten identical spams using images with the same text, but different phone numbers to call.

Sent a photo by text that I had a debt with Spectrum. As I do deal with Spectrum, I confirmed with them that I don't have a debt. And the # given to return call is not for the collection agency that Spectrum uses

Says I owed money for a Spectrum Cable debt for collections

Un-owed spectrum bill that doesn't exist and spectrum knows nothing about.

Attempt to collect a debt with Spectrum that I don't owe, and Spectrum knows nothing about. I've had spectrum for years, still do and am in good standing with them. This msg is a scam.

Charter Spectrum

They did say spectrum passed outrageous amount due.

This number claimed to be a debt collector concerning a Spectrum past due debt. I don't have any spectrum accounts.
