They called asked if this was (my name) I said yes, she said we are calling for MADD then ***g up.

Called directly 2001 it worked Thank you Been called up to ten times a day

No one on other end of line

They call several time a day, whenever I pick up, ***ody is there to talk to me. When I call them back, I get the following message twice then the busy signal: "You have been contact for marketing research or a sale call." They need to stop.

They call and **** up, leave no message. Only once did they ask for someone, then ***g up when asked who was calling.

I phoned Discover directly and asked them to remove me from their lists. I also told them that this site claims I'm not alone in being annoyed by whomever is phoning from 866-831-4847

i get calls from 866-831-4847 every evening, sometimes 5 times a night, i have caller id so i don't pick up, I have called discover to request that they stop, she didn't know for sure if the 866 # belonged to them

Someone keeps calling us at all hours, all days - They will not divulge who they are even when someone answers the phone.

This has been happening at my house, as well. It is targeted toward my son, who is a college student, who has a Discover Card. I told them he no longer lives here or has this number and please do not call me a***n. I did call Discover and complain. They asked about the 866 number and made a record of it. I get the impression another telemarketer is using the Discover telephone records. I did not ask the caller what he wanted. Everybody wants your money, honey! Just say NO!

Calls regularly. Never leaves a message. We're on the DNC list.

I have comcast digital phone service, and they have an option to block up to 12 #'s, and this was one of them, and it works!  Good luck in getting the calls stopped coming to you!

This number keeps showing up on my Caller ID. They call daily.

I found it!!!!Found information that this number 866-831-4847 was from one of Discover Cards outsourced telemarketing numbers.  I called Discover Card directly   1-800-Discover  and told them what was happening.  I gave her the number and she verrified that it was theirs.  She asked if I wanted off of their call list for special offers and I said YES  She thanked me for being a discover card customer and I said we will see if I still am in a few days.  They said it will take a few days to go into effect.  I also mistakenly told her 888-891-4748 first and she also verrified that as one of their numbers.

I am so with previous entry.  I have called 800 directory****istance to see if they would tell me.  They will only look up a number.  Let's protect the idiots.I will keep looking a bit more.  Hoping to find out so****ing.

The calls from this number need to stop. At first they only called once or twice a day but now they've progressed to calling every hour or two all day long. Its very annoying. Our number is on the donotcall llist so we were hoping to avaoid these types of calls. As soon as the answering ma****e picks up the call is disconnected. I don't know who is making the calls and I don't really care but they need to stop! Whomever owns this number needs their phones disconnected and denied access to any phone lines!

we are on the state and federal do not call lists..w***ver belongs to this number calls several times a day...we screen calls so our ma****g picks up the call.  Of course as soon as our ma****e gets a few seconds into the announcement, the call disconnects. Its way past old and we would like it stopped.

These guys call everyday two times consecutively and never say anything.  One time a girl said she was with Radio Station 95.5 and wanted to offer me so****ing.  When I told her this number was on the National Do Not Call list she ***g up on me.  Then guess what.. the call s****ed a***n that evening and noone ever speaks.

Received call representing Discover Card to sell me on Iden***y Theft Protection.

said were from a radio station 107.3 Washington DC. If I heard my name to call the 800 number they provided.  Not sure if it's fishy.

THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY RUDE AND AFTER I RESPONDED BACK TO HER SHE ***G UP ON ME.

They call here several times a day and never speak.  I have said into the phone you take the time to call and yet you won't speak.

They call 4 to 5 times per day and do not leave a message. I reported them to the donotcall.gov/Complain/
