Call came from 937 area code (Ohio) telling me to call 866-834-3206 because of problem with my Mastercard. There are also bogus charges on my credit card so I had the card cancelled and new one re-issued
Received a letter from "Synchrony Bank" stating the new credit card for which I had applied could not be forwarded with my other mail (I have recently moved) and advised me to call this number at my earliest convenience. When I did, I was told the number had c****ed but, just by calling today, I was eligible to receive a $100 retail voucher and to join their "Discount Savings Program".
I received a call from this number regarding fraud on a Walmart MasterCharge card which I do not have. I called the number and spoke to Allen Hughes who said that he was with Synchrony Bank and they were investigating fraud. He asked for my social security number. I asked for his ID number. He said he was not allowed to give it out. I asked to speak to his supervisor. he said I could not speak to his supervisor.
