I also got a call from this number. It was an automated message that left me a UPS account # and said I owed money - no mention of how much. It also gave me the phone #, 866-836-4875, to call. I phoned an actual number on UPS's site and the customer service agent told me there was no such account # and that the call was not legitimate.
Got a call on my new cell, which isn't listed of course. They claim to be UPS they're calling about an invoice. There is no such invoice. Meantime, I looked up a UPS Customer Service number on their website and found they've been receiving calls about the aforementioned number and fake invoices. It's a scam. Police have been notified by UPS and they've asked me to contact my local Police as well.If you receive a call from this "866-836-4875" number about an unknown invoice, DO NOT give your credit card info and DO call the police with the number and time of the call.
Number comes up restricted and says they are calling from UPS and that a package was delivered COD and duty and taxes are owed to Ca***a IRS and to call back 1-866-866-4875
