Leave a CommentLady called my cell phone and said she was from UPS and had a package from JC Penneys that needed a address and my place of employment. She stated my home address and asked if I was there and I told her I was at work but my husband is home, she that said the package needed to be sighned for and I told her my Husband will sign for it, and she than stated "We will need his drivers license to verify he is who he is", she said we are currently using passwords for those who are not home, this is so the person I have given permission for sign for package would know the password too. I did give her my place of employment and she said okay, just call your husband and let him know the password. Funny thing I am expecting a package from UPS.
I have lived in Arizona for most of the last 40 years. I have a brother who lived in Arizona some time ago, for about two years and then moved back to live in Illinois. His estranged wife now livesin Missouri. My brother recently left a voice message on my phone that said that he had heard from the "Postal Service" that they had been unsuccessfully tryin to deliver a "highly insured" package to me. Puzzled, I called him. He said that, in fact, it was his estranged wife in Missouri who had been first contacted and had been asked to contact him and tell him to contact me and have me contact them to arrange a time they could deliver this package. He had said before that they had said that the package was "from someone like 'Ruth' or 'So****ing' like that." Ruth is the name of my ex-wife whom I divorced about 13 years ago. I called the main U.S.P.S. number as well as my local post office and even spoke wih my mail delivery person who checked and said I had no deliveries pending. I then called UPS and FEDEX... with the same rsult... "No packages awaiting delivery..." Growin more and more curious,I then called my brother and spoke with him a***n. He treated me very rudely, as though I was just refusing to take his word for this. He called and left a message two days later and told me very curtly and rudely that the number I needed to call was 1-866-844-5753. And so I did... and have... MORE than MANY times during the last two days. And I ALWAYS get this same message "That mailbox is full and can not accept any new messages." "Please try a***n at a later time." So I gess I've been scammed. But I'm at a loss to figure out why and also how they found any connection to my brother and even more so to his estranged wife to have them relay a message to me about a package awaiting delivery. Mostly, I'm ****ed off for the fact that they have cost me the friendship of my dear brother! So is there ANYONE who has ANY clue as to who owns that number of 1-866-844-5753 and what their motives might be? Dan Whitaker
CALLED MY DESK AND ASKED TO VERIFY AN EMPLOYEE WITH US.... I VERIFIED THAT THE EMPLOYEE DID WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. LESSON I LEARNED: DO NOT VERIFY ANY EMPLOYEES OR ANYTHING ELSE UNLESS THE PERSON ON THE PHONE CAN TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE AND ALLOW YOU TO "CALL THEM BACK" WITH THE INFO WHICH THEY ARE REQUESTIN. A LEGIIMATE CALLER WILL WELCOME THIS ACTION..... OTHERS WILL NOT. THIS WAY YOU CAN CALL THEM BACK AT A NUMBER WHICH A REAL PERSON WILL ANSWER THE PHONE. OTHERWISE YOU CAN BET THEY MAY HAVE SO****ING DELIVERED TO YOUR OFFICE AND CLAIM THAT THE PACKAGE WAS ORDERED BY THE "EMPLOYEE" AND SEND A BILL TO YOUR COMPANY FOR THE PACKAGE!! THIS HAPPENED TO ME. THEY DID NOT GET ANY MONEY AND WE RETURNED THE ITEM .... HOWEVER, WE HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND BOTHER WITH GOING TO POST OFFICE. NEVER A***N. YOU OWN THE PHONE THAT YOU ARE TALKING ON .... AND YOU DONT HAVE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO !!!!

Asked for a Norbert so****ing. Real poor english. Told him he had the wrong number. ***** STILL went into a sales pitch, as I was ****ing up.
