Leave a CommentI can't remember whether I've received a call or text from this number, but two of the lines on my account have had a charge for 9.99 under the name Vune which I can't seem to find anywhere. I'm in contact with AT&T now to get this resolved.
Its a scam if conjunction with AT&T... Send me a message (that is supposed to be funny) and charged $9.99. SCAM AT&T SCAM AT&T - Rethink Possible!
Spammer indeed

Be careful, this is NOT just spam, it's a scam that charges you $9.99 a month WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT! If they charge you, file a complaint with the FCC, it's the only way to shut this scam down!
SCAM!
Second text from this company. Spent several min on the phone trying to get this blocked and now a month later the same thing over a***n. I was billed the first time and I never auth this service! Call provider if you get this text to make sure that you aren't being billed for this!

Today I got 3 messages from MpbChanceIQ. I called ATT customer care and told them about this. They cancelled my subscription and refunded me the $9.99 charge. They also added protection services which won't automatically activate any such things without me requiring to enter a pin.
I received the same messages claiming that I was being billed 9.99 a month for some monthly trivia. I replied stop, hopefully I won't be billed since I didn't sign up for this.
This is an inside job. I sent Verizon a question on their website (official web form) and was called back by what appeared to be their REAL service number (1-800-922-0204). They left a message saying to give them a call back. I opened the RECENT CALLS section on my phone and hit CALL. it connected me to a Mobile Help company, not Verizon. I spoke with a guy who seemed to not know a lot and asked me questions he should have known. It didn't sound legit so I didn't give him any real info (account number, passcode,...) all he had was my cell number. He told me to email my bill to [email protected]. I ***g up and didn't do that. I thought "that guy didn't seem right" so I looked at my recent OUT CALLS. The number that dialed was 866-861-1606. The same number that sent me the $9.99 charge! Somehow they intercepted the web form question to Verizon customer service and called me back with their real number hidden... it showed on my phone as the real Verizon number! I then called the real Verizon number. I actually entered the 800-922-0204 on the keypad and was connected to Verizon. Do not respond to the 866-861-1606 number or hit the CALLBACK ****on to Verizon if they call you. Open your dial pad and type it in. Verizon is blocking all premium messages on my phone and crediting back the $9.99.

Phone # 1-866-861-1606 (SHORT CODE 77910) - I just received a text from this same phone number, but under the name Mobizoids and "Master Quiz Fun Facts," rather than MobilRacingIQ or Roarebull. I called ATT, my wireless carrier and advised them of the text. They told me that they weren't showing any charges (the message said that I would be billed $9,99 per month, but they did put a block on the number for me. They also told me that if I were to receive a charge on my next bill, they would immediately remove it for me, upon a phone call from me. Finally, they told me to text "Stop" to the short code number, even though that wasn't listed as an option on the original text. When I sent the stop request, I received a message stating that I wasn't subscribed to any services on that code number and to reply with the word "MIX," if I wanted to subscribe. Obviously I don't, so at this point, I will just leave the text on my phone as a record of what occurred.
they keep telling me that i subscribed to so****ing that i didn't. i told them stop texting that it cost me money. they said you subscribed
Call your provider and get them... MobilRacingIQ blocked asap!
I keep replying "STOP" as the text says to stop this ********, but each month I still have a 9.99 charge, it's really ****ing me off because I never signed up for this ****
SPAM! Every time I receive a text message from this company (twice a month for the past two months) my AT&T account is charged $9.99 by "Roarebull". Last month I called to have this terminated. Now that I've received two fun fact text messages a***n this month I suspect I'll be calling AT&T a***n!
