Leave a CommentYes this number IS a scam. we had recently ported my GFs cell number from ATT to Sprint and added a 2d line to my account (I am the primary account holder). We both received the standard survey call BUT my GF received a call from this number that left a voice mail saying there was some sort of error that might cause a billing error. the message said to call this number and use option 7. My GF called the number and spoke to a "Sprint rep". who wanted all sorts of info. As GF does not know my PIN/security number, she asked me about it. I smelled so****ing wrong. I got on the phone to talk to the rep and asked them if I could take care of this at my local corp store. they said I could. I then asked them why they did NOT call me on my number (which is the primary account number) and they said sometimes there is a "lag". I then ***g up. I found the fact that "Sprint" did NOT call or leave a message with ME the primary account holder to be VERY su****ious. I visited the Sprint store where I normally go and gave them all of the information above. They could NOT find any problem with my account or the number port, did NOT know this number (supposedly Sprint). They advised me that this was a possible phishing scam and to ignore the message and not to answer a call from this number nor give out ANY information.
