Leave a CommentThis is Chase Card Services, they have actually (rarely) left messages but they call almost EVERY HOUR!! When I actually answer, I can never understand the person speaking.
Ugh!
These ppl BuG!!!
This number constantly calls my house and never leave a message!! I dont pick up the phone.
I called and they said they are chase bank; however they sound pretty unprofessional. They don't leave messages or talk when we actually pick up. If it really is Chase, they could be in violation of the Fair Debt Collections and Practices Act.
1-866-881-6222 ... they **** up immediately if they hear it is a mans voice (what a bunch of cheauvenists, maybe they think women are more vulnerable to scams??)... lucky for me they have not called a lot that I know, but then a***n I don't directly answer my phone much unless it is somebody I know, and these advertisers don't seem to leave messages
This phone number has called up to 11 times in a twelve hour period. This has been going on for weeks. If I could identify them I would sue them for harassment and believe me they would pay!
I keep getting calls from this Number at least 8 times a day if not more. I have not answered this call, I don't know who owns this Number. It is very annoying. They don't even leave a message on my answering ma****e.They have called me at 7:00am on a Sa****ay and Sunday and various times through out the day, even as late as 10:00pm. Please find out who this is and punish them..... ...........
Calling cell phone don't know who's calling never gave cell phone to any credit card company
have recieved 2 missed calls from this number this morning. I have no clue has to whom the are, have no outstanding bills, so should not be a collection agency, after reading the above complaints, I will NOT be answering any calls from this number.
These a**holes call at least 8 times daily. They ask for your name, address and other info, but, will not give you a name or reason for calling. I've quit picking up the phone.
I am having the same problem...this is a serious issue and needs to be resolved form the Federal Trade Commisssion.
We got this phone call on our cell phone, it is actually a fraud call try to phish for info. Talked with Chase Fraud dept and they have recorded it. We do not even have a Chase card! They ask your name right away. Don't give out any information!!!
Called my home phone at 10:30 and my cell phone at 10:35. I teach first grade and right in the middle of a lesson my cellphone was ringing. I called them back when I got home and the first thing they wanted was my credit card number. I was livid and told them they were NOT getting any credit card number from me and never to call my phone a***n.
Repeated calls and ****ups, no proper identification when they first call, they won't search for your records by name - all of this is su****ious. I've already reported Chase (if this the real Chase) to the Federal Trade Commission.
I have been getting calls from this number constantly. I have filed a complaint using the do not call directory. I don't pick up phone calls if i can't iden***y or recognize the number.

They keep calling me. They call around seven times a day
If you answer the phone they say this call will be recorded. If they are on the up and up they would identify themselves.
This is NOT Chase. It is a fraud, they will steal your iden***y if you pick up the phone.Trust me, I'm still cleaning up the mess they made last week.
This number called me on Wednesday.By Sa****ay, my iden***y was stolen. They've been reported to the following:SSA Fraud AlertFTCFBISeveral local police departmentsIf they call you, ignore it. Just by picking up the phone and acknowledging your existance gives them what they are looking for, validity. They already have your info to boot.
credit card company(chase)
I GOT SEVERAL CALLS THIS WEEK FROM THIS # ONLY TO HAVE SOMEONE **** UP. THE TIME THEY DIDN'T **** UP THEY ASKED FOR SOMEONE WHOM I DON'T KNOW. THEY THEN GAVE ME THE FIFTH DEGREE ABOUT THE PERSON AND APPARENTLY SOME NAMES ON AN APPLICATION AS REFERENCES. I TOLD THEM IT WAS ALL GREEK TO ME. THEY GOT IRRITATED AND INSISTED I WAS THE PARTY THEY WERE LOOKING FOR. THEY WANTED TO VERIFY MY SS# SO THEY COULD "CLOSE THE FILE" YEP - I FELL FOR THAT HOOK LINE AND SINKER. THIS IS WHERE IS BECAME UNFRIENDLY. I HAPPENED TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE'S SS# FROM AN OLD ***** TRICKS BOOK AND GAVE THEM THE # THEN MY NAME R. NI**ON. SINCE THEY COULDN'T PROVIDE ME WITH AN ADDRESS IT TOLD THEM I LIVED NEXT DOOR TO THEIR MOTHER AND SHE AND I WERE BECOMING THE BEST OF FRIENDS IN THE MOST INTIMENT WAYS. THEY SEEM TO GET MAD AND **** UP. I CALLED BACK AND THEY WOULDN'T TALK TO ME ANYMORE. IF THEY CALL A***N I AM GOING TO TELL THEM TO CALL BACK AS I AM INVOLVED ROMANTICALLY WITH THEIR MOTHER AND TWO SISTERS AT THE TIME.
have been getting calls from this # for weeks...finally answered one at 9 pm on Sunday...they said they were from Chase card services...told the caller in no uncertain terms to NEVER call a***n...have gotten more calls than ever from this # in the last week...they never leave a message...today I had a chance to check this out...glad (?) to know i'm not the only one! What can we do to stop this?
Got 2 calls back to back from this number. Before returning calls from people who call repeatedly and leave no message, I always do a quick search on the internet to find out who it is that is trying to contact me before making the decision to call them back which is what I did tonight and lead me here. At any rate, thankfully I never pick up my phone unless it is someone I recognize first. I usually will hit ignore and it will direct them straight to my voice mail. I figure if it's that important to get ahold of me they would no doubt leave a message and I will be more than happy to return the call as soon as possible if it's important or when I get enough time to talk if it's not needing my attention promptly. Another way to protect yourself, even if they leave a message with a call back number and claiming to be from your bank or what have you, don't call the number back. Call your bank the next day at a different number, if it's on file of any concerns with your account or what have you, it'll be listed right there and they should be able to help you or forward you to the person that is dealing with your account at that time with your bank and who possibly called you the day before. I've avoided so many of these BS calls by doing this. Makes my life a lot easier and not having to deal with those that are up to no good. I value my time too much to be wasting it on these folks. Never give any info out. And if you're su****ious, always call your financial ins***ution or the company they claim they are from the next day and take it from there. If it's that important to get ahold of you, they would no doubt leave a message.
After receiving several phone calls a day for the past several days and even after telling the "customer service representative" to stop calling, I contacted Chase and spoke to someone in their Fraud Department. I was told that my phone number was linked to someone else's account and that it would be corrected immediately. The fraud guy said I should not receive any more calls..we'll see.
They keep calling me at 5am....not cool.
why are they calling me at 9pm on a Sa****ayy night???
After getting annoyed with this number calling my house and my cell phone ALL the time, and never getting anywhere when I answer (no ones ever there unless I wait a really long time) I finally decided to search it and came across this website. Since I do have a credit card with chase and posts have said they have gotten a response that it was chase calling,I called the number for chase on my bill. They told me the number is not listed in their directory and transfered me to their fraud department. The fraud department checked a***n and told me this number is not****osiated with chase or washington mutual and they will look into the matter. So don't believe this number at all! Straight from Chase.. this number is a fake!
Got a call from number 1866-881-6222, man,its been 3weeks. they kept calling my phone and never left any messages. I guess they know that some of us will eventually be sick of them and answer..I told them that they have the wrong number and stop calling my phone. They claim to be some kind of financial company.
Hey "x"... I guess we know where you're from...****Anyway... I have been called from this number 14 times in the last 5 business days. I called it back from a blocked number and it was answered by a gentleman who could not fluently speak our native language (how was that for PC?) who stated I had called "card services". I requested to speak to a supervisor. He argued for a short while, demanding my "16 digit account number, then finally put me on hold for a few minutes. This time the line was answered by "Samantha" who clearly was American and stated I had called Chase Bank. After explaining that neither I nor my business have now or have ever had any accounts with Chase she very politely apologized and asked me for the # that had been called.I gave her the numbers and she checked through their databases. She came up with a name attached to my business # who I have never heard of... she immediately removed that number from the database. My other # came up with my name... when I asked how we determined that it was because I had (over a year ago) a WaMu account which was closed. She a***n removed the number. We shall see what transpires later, but at this point I hope it is taken care of...
Hey "sick of these people"_ you need to get a life.
Called my job and didn't leave a message several times; when I called back no-one answered.
they keep calling s****ing around 6 AM in the mornings. i believe that's a***nst the law. you can call i think 8 am through 9 PM. so lame, they don't even know what a voicemail is. they keep asking for a name instead of leaving a message. super annoying.
Calls from this number have been occurring nonstop, at 15 minute intervals, s****ing at 8:00AM each day, for the past 2 weeks. If we answer, they **** up. If allowed to go to voicemail, they leave no message and **** up.FTC and FCC regulations categorize "Causing a telephone to ring repeatedly and ****ing up" as "Harrassment."File harrassment complaints via the web, with the FTC, FCC and your state's Attorney General's Office each time you receive a call from this number."
This week I have recieved over 20 calls from this number 18668816222They ask for some one who I dont know and then ask for my information....I am sick and tired of the calls, how do I make it stop? any suggestions??
A few people at other web sites have stated that when they call the number back (BIG MISTAKE!!) it's states it's Chase bank, which bought WaMu. I do not believe this. These phone calls seem to be directed at cell phones. This phone # has been calling my cell repeatedly over this past week. I finally answered and the person on the other end claimed to be "card services" which is very generic. Then the caller proceeded to ask for someone who I did not recognize. When I told her that person wasn't at this number and never has been, the caller repeated the number she was attempting to dial. This number wasn't even close to my phone number. Then she insisted I give her my phone number and that's when I lit her up like an Xmas tree.I don't care who these people claim they are, I do not believe they are on the up and up:1) Repeatedly calling phone number "X" claiming calling "Y"2) Insisted on getting my info3) Seems to be targeting strickly cell phones4) Calling people after 9pm is a***nst the law, even for credit collections5) Several complaints about this from people who have not done business with either Chase or WaMu (I've never had dealings with either, and would never).6) All calls and complainst seem to be s****ing this week. Chase has been around for decades. Even if it's in referrence to WaMu, Chase bought them months ago, why all of a sudden THIS WEEK?If you ever answer a call that claims to be from "card services" always insist on the actual company they are calling for. Card services is not a company, it is a department. All credit card companies have a "card services". Stating you are from "card services" is not as illegal as stating you are calling from an actual bank or other company when you are not. Do not answer any other questions or offer any info even if they answer that question. Just keep repeating "what company are you calling for?". This person refused to tell me this info, she just kept repeating "I'm with card services". Once you tell a company such as this:1) they are calling the wrong number2) that person does not and has not existed at this number3) cease and desist these calls to this numberThe last one is the important one. The term "cease and desist" is a legal term. Once you establish #1 and #2 and state #3, they must stop. If they do not, you can now file a formal complaint with the FTC (not the FCC) and state that you informed them of all the above.Below is the web site link for the FTC complaints.https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
This number called me and I missed the call. When I called them back, they said that they were card services. I asked them who they were looking for at my number, ( I do not have ANY credit cards or have never dealt with a Chase bank in my life) They wanted my name and information before they would even tell me who they were looking for. I told them that I was not going to give them my name because they obviously had the wrong number and to stop calling my phone. Kinda fishy how even after I gave them the phone that they were calling they still wanted MY name before they would tell me who they were looking for. The number was 1-866-881-6222
It's chase bank - you owe on your cc's
Watch out for phone number 972-512-9502 also that is a number they use in Texas. They call me at least 5 times a day from there.
I bit the bullet and called the number. It is Chase Bank offering me a 'deal'.
I did not get to the phone in time to answer it. The caller left no voice message. Anybody know who called me?
I called the number after receiving a call, no answer. I did get a return call from that number but was not around to answer.
