Leave a CommentBS phishing scam
They left a voicemail saying to call back to "resolve this legal issue". I called back twice, and talked to two people. One guy I talked to was "Steve Smith" who had a very thick Indian accent, and who repeatedly told me that if I **** up, I would face legal consequences. Both people I talked to said that they worked for the Social Security Administration, so this is very likely a phishing scheme.
Left a voicemail indicating that if I did not contact them I would have to see a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense and that this is a final attempt to reach me and that I need to call this number back to speak to a federal agent. I called back using my office phone and was put on hold without them indicating what agency I was calling.
