Leave a CommentThanks for the posts. I've had this number phone several times, I didn't answer, they don't leave a message. Unfortunately, I have a contract with Rogers, but I will not re-new when it expires, 80% of the time I don't have a network, so can't access the internet, making the iphone pretty useless. Rogers has been extremely unhelpful, their call center staff are terrible, and the price I've been paying for a phone that doesn't work is insane. Never a***n with Rogers. Very unfortunate that we as consumers have no recourse to being ripped off by huge companies like Rogers due to a 'contract'...(Apple, unlike Rogers has been very helpful & has given me 3 new phones, but it is the 'network' aka 'Rogers' that doesn't work and rather than admit it or try to fix the problem, they just blame it on the phone, every time....)
I complained by email and got this message, should work within 5 days.We would kindly ask that you please visit www.rogers.com/myrogers and sign in with your user name and password. From the "Overview" tab underthe "Profile Information" section there is a link to "Update Marketing Permissions". This link will open the page where you can place a check box for all ****ods you do not wish to be contacted by Rogers.
I just phoned Rogers, they have no record of any outbound marketing calls for me, and this number calls me every day (I ignore it, obviously). The Rogers guy I was speaking to said that it's not to say it's NOT Rogers, but he suggested I ask them questions to make sure they're legit, and not just phishing for information. He told me to ask them details about my plan, how long I've been with them, etc, to verify that they're actually with the organization. If they can't answer it, **** up - I'm pretty sure it's a scam.
They have been calling my cell phone every day for the past week, around 3:00 PM. I don't answer cell phone calls from people I don't know.
I get a call from this **** number 8669092771 every day for the past week.
Tried to call me 5 times in 5 days. did not answer. soon to be ex rogers client.
Also they are trying to get you to sign a new three year term by giving you small deals.
Rogers Wireless thanking you for being a customer - special offers but really just an excuse to ask you survey questions
Another one in the idiot department. This is the third type of call I have got in the last 2 days.
Same thing is happening to me. Report this to Rogers! Hopefully if enough people report it these scam artists will get shut down!
This 8669092771 calls my home 5 times in the previous 7 days.Every time I will push "Answer" ****on on the phone, and then leave it for 3 minutes before I***g up.I hope this little trick will waste their time a little bit.
calls from this number almost every 2 days for these 2 weeks after i picked up on the first time that no one said anything so i ***g up
Okay, it actually is Rogers. They have been calling my LAND LINE (which is a Shaw digital phone line) repeatedly- several times a day- about my Rogers wireless cell phone. I am on the National Do Not Call list- that fact that they are calling me from Ca***a makes it an illegal call. I have been ***g up on, too.Yes, they are calling about "GREAT DEALS and OFFERS", but they do not know who I am or what my account info is since they are making calls on a "dialer" and only have my phone number on outgoing calls. When they receive an incoming call, they need all my info to look up my account to see what "DEAL" I am eligible for. When I told them to remove my # from their list, the REP told me that "since I have a contract with Rogers, they DO have a right to call" me. I am NOT on contract with Rogers, and they have NO right to solicit me!I asked for the supervisor and had to be fairly insistent to get my name off the list. She says it can take 30 days and I will get calls in the meantime!!

They called 5+ times, no one was ever there.Called back finally. Rogers wanting to thank me for being their customer and offer me a deal.I told them to remove me from the list as this number has been harassing me for a month now.
I lives in Vancouver,BC.just got a call from this number,I won't pick up any unknown numbers so just be here to checking on if it was a spam call.
I have received a number of calls from this number. I too am going to leave rogers ASAP. If you call this number back you get a ****ese message and someting about a dog with laughing in the background.
i've gotten calls from this number numerous times. the first time i picked up and no one said anything so i ***g up. i've been ignoring calls from this number for a few times now
also a rogers customer. been getting calls from this number a lot recently.
Also got a call from these meatheads, with rogers. Soon to be an ex-rogers customer.
Spam call, apparently from Rogers but the number traces back to Verizon in the States. She said that they were contracted by Rogers to call their cell users to offer lower cost LD. Sounds like the kind of scam Rogers might pull. I ported my number away from Rogers a while ago.
Did not answer.
Called but left no message
