USAA trying to collect a debt

It is a bill collection leg of USAA, sorry Navy Mom.  My mother - was contacted in search of my brother in law - who has been avoiding their calls admittedly to avoid paying his debt.  They have gone as far as to contact a completely unrelated and unaffiliated person to close the case.

** Warning - Possible ID Theft Attempt or Scam **They called asking for my son, *using my unpublished number*.. asking for his # etc..**Do NOT give them any info at all, not even your name or relationship to the person**He's in the Navy and USAA is a ** Military Bank **They said it wasn't a bad call, and was just wanted to update his contacts file..Callers name sated to ask for was Elizabeth - at extension 7126My son said they are a scam - and they are wat****g and checking his bank account for theftHe has No unpaid debts.. so it is not bill collection
