THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS!  Don't send them a dime!!  They are being investigated by the New York Attorney General's Office.  They are not licensed to collect in several states that they are attempting to fraudulently collect from.  They are making harrassing phone calls and pretending to be****ociated with attorney offices.  They are a low budget collection agency.  ONCE A***N, CONTACT YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE WITH THEIR NUMBER AND THREATS, DON'T SEND THEM A DIME...

Same as the rest of you.  Threatening phone calls from someone we don't know, threatening legal action if we don't call back and pay him some money.  TERRORISM. I am forwarding my email and this website to my Senator, Ron Wyden, OREGON.

Also received a call from this number wanting me to call back. This person never disclosed who they were even calling from. They gave me my last four digits of my SSN. And a case number. If this was a legit legal matter, wouldn't they send you info in the mail to****ure you are receive this info? I looked up my "court filing" and didn't see anything pending. Just wondering if this is legit or not.

Received a call today from Investigator Smith at 1-866-***-3447 ext. 205.  He was calling for one of our employees (Mike B.)who works out in the field, not in the office.  Said a subpoena would be issued Wednesday for Mike, but if Mike would call him, he could help avoid the subpoena.  Gave a case # as well.  Should I give this message to Mike?  He is the sort of person who would be vulnerable to a scam.  Have any of you ever called this number?

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME TODAY STATING I HAVE A CASE NUMBER AND BLAHBLAH, THEY SAY THEY ARE INVESTIGATORS OF SOME SORT, WHAT I FIND SHADY IS THAT HE DID NOT EVEN LEAVE HIS FULL NAME, HE ONLY MENTIONED HIS LAST NAME, AND HE DID NOT EVEN MENTION WHAT COMPANY HE IS CALLING FOR, I CHECKED OUT THE CASE NUMBER HE IS MENTIONING AND IT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST, THIS IS REALLY A FORM OF HARRASSMENT, TO ANYBODY WHO GETS CALLED BY THIS DUDE , FILE A COMPLAINT, CHECK YOUR COUNTY OR DISTRICT COURT FOR CASE NUMBERS THAT THIS DUDE MAKES UP COZ I BET THEY DON'T EXIST, YOU HAVE YOUR RIGHTS USE IT.....

I'm not sure why this place is trying to contact me.  I've read all the other posts here and it seems that everyone says it's regarding a loan they took out some number of years ago, or supposedly took out.  What has me confused though is the fact that I have NEVER given ANYONE the phone number they have called, as it's not mine and I don't even have this person's cell number to be able to give it out.  So, how is it that a place I have never heard of or know nothing about is calling a number that I don't even know and asking for me?  I called the contact number they left late last night to see what, if any, the recording for after business hours states.  The recording states "you have reached the EAM Office...."  When I do call them back to find out what this is about, I will be the one asking the questions, such as why they called the number they did and who gave it to them, and why they are asking for me by a name I have never gone by.  As for giving them any of my personal info or paying them any amount of money, that's not going to happen.  And I thank all of you who have posted here informing people of what is going on.

i have been getting calls from this number telling me it's very important and that there is a civil case involving my name and ss#. i saved the message, thank god. this is harassment and fraud. i read that each one of these threatening calls is worth 1,000 in court. i am going to take it that far. i was really worried about this. ***** these people! illegal.

I keep getting calls from 716-684-8183 asking for a Juan somebody or other (can't understand last name).  Have told them repeatedly they have the wrong number and to please take my number off their call list.  When I miss the call they always leave a msg saying "Juan (last name??) we've tried contacting you by mail and phone, but you never respond.  We have an important legal matter to discuss with you.  Please call us back at 1.866.***.3774 & reference file number .....  I don't know this person, don't wanna know them - STOP CALLING ME!And of course, they continue to call.  Somehow they got a friend's number and are harrasing them as well.

You should have gotten paid receipts from the when you paid. That is your fault you need  to get your bank statements proving it.  Other wise you have no proof of payment and a judge would say the same thing. Good luck!

A man named Jack keeps leaving me messages saying fraud charges and all type of thing.....I even sent them $200.00 in May because I do owe money to a cash advance place but I'm broke and instead of them allowing me to make a monthly payment of what I can afford they want to make threats and abuse me mentally. I payed the money I owed the loan company now the Nicoli law firm wants money frm me for there fee's. I rec'd a settlement offer from the loan co and paid that too, so I due money....my loan was for $500. I paid the settlement of 325.00 in Dec of 08 and then when they called in may i thought they renigged on there settlement so I let the collection agency aka law firm take the add'l $200 out of my account and now they want more...HELL NO and on top of that ...I don't have receipts from either place.....I also had a Deborah call from a 716-624-8183 and 716-206-1240# and when I call that back it said National Credit works collections.....

Terry if You think Its me calling you , I always give my name. I don't believe in using an aka. I do not abusively contact persons. The only time I might call someone a***n is if I could not understand what they said and they ***g up. I always remove incorrect numbers as I'd rather spend my time effectively contacting the correct person. I don't get my kicks out of ****ing you off.

You called me looking for someone that had used our name as a distant relative for a loan somewhere.  I'm now getting a call every week from you asking for this person after I told you I don't know and leave me alone.  Think it's funny?  Try using your real name as I use to be a real skip tracer and I would really like to visit with you as I'm now retired and have nothing better to do then to chat.  I don't like it when some little punk laughs at me on the phone when I tell them to leave me alone that I have nothing to do with this matter.

to ME i was the one who probably called. Someone I spoke to prolly requested a letter and i was trying to follow up on it. (part of my job) I might have accidently called you. If you are listed as a reference on the persons file and want you number removed you should have just called and said so. nothing i can do now and if i keep calling thats why.And if you took out a loan...even 3 years later you owe it. Where it was before our attorneys office i don't know. But the person should have paid it within the 3 years and we would not be calling.

I was phoned today by someone asking if I had "reciived the letter" regarding the case at hand...references some number and a number that she can be phoned back at. Scare tactic.
