The same thing has happened to me now twice! I had a charge of 29.95 on my account this week I recieved my monthly statement it was charged last month too! Its gonna cost me as much too stop it as it will to let them have it! How does this happen? Did I go to a site that let someone steal so****ing?

So apparently they got my old address from 6 years ago and my maiden name and my routing number for my bank and my bank account number.  They stole $60 dollars from me by way of two electronic checks at $29.95 each.  I called and no one ever answers. Keep your eyes out for any su****ious charges.  Know who you give your info to. Keep records and make sure you shred all old checks.  I have no idea how they got my info. I did not authorize it.  Watch out es****ially in the times we are living in. Do not expect to get your money back work with your bank to rectify situation and c****e your account.

Similar to marandim. Number was charged to a bank account of which I have POA. By the time I balanced the statement, the bank informed me that another similar charge had arrived. I called and was told that it was for long distance service. FYI, this is for a resident of a nursing home whose phone service doesn't include outgoing calls. He said the most recent charge would be refunded within 7-10 business days(as I had called within thirty days). I am to call a***n when that arrives to learn the disposition of the earlier charge (as it was more than 30 days since the charge).  We will see.

This number was charged on my bank account twice, the first time I overlooked it because I thought maybe I just forgot. The second time I called they said I signed up for long distance service. I don't even have a phone! He said well maybe you have a joint account, I said nope, no phone at all. He said the would refund me in 10-15 days, so we will see. He also said he was not affiliated with the company. And he also tried to say that his name was the same as mine and put me on hold for like 10 minutes.

This number was on a charge to my bank account.  I called the number and they said I had purchased road side****istance.  He stated they were a customer service company only not the actual company.  The charge was $34.99.  I told him I didn't make the charge and he would refund.  My bank said I had 60 days to deny the charge so if they don't refund in a week it can be cancelled.
