Leave a CommentI got a call from a lady (Erica) asking for a call back to 866-947-6930. I called back and was transferred to her after giving my phone number. They were trying to reach someone (with my exact name, but different mailing address) about a outstanding balance on a Chase credit card. After our conversation, she agreed I was not the person she was looking for and removed my telephone number off her list.
Get messages from this number 1-866-947-6930 all the time. They are a collecton agency/ credit department. They always leave messages like "I have GREAT news for you, please call back!". Don't fall for it- they are trying to collect very very old debts that probably expire anyway. Take my advice as I have done many research on this. Once you engage a collection agency (ie., talking to them!)- they renew their cycle and then s**** calling you every hr! DSo don;t talk to them!!!
