Leave a CommentI called back. It is a program by SDG&E to have your bill reduced by 20%. It is primarily for lower income persons or persons receiving some other form of financial****istance.
Someone called me from this number and did not leave a message. i leave all call to the answering ma****e. This really makes me angry. It it is SDGE I am upset that they sold my home phone number. That is why I don't give out my cell. I guess I will have to go to the do not call list a***n to stop this kind of call. I have gotten several lately that don't leave a message.
The number seems to belong to an "outside marketing" company representing SDG&E. Apparently customers need to notify SDG&E directly and "opt out" of these types of calls or they will share your phone number. I just called SDG&E customer service at 1-800-411-7343, went through the various prompts (kept saying "it's so****ing else" when asked to describe the****istance needed), waited a few minutes and got to speak with a representative. She was very pleasant, admitted that they share customers numbers for marketing purposes, and said she would put ours on their "do not call" list. It's worth a ****.
Spoke to supervisor at San Diego Gas And Electric. She admitted that this is an outside marketing company trying to offer discounts to qualified customers. She promised to advise them to immediately cease any phone calls to me. Hopefully, this will work.
Received several calls in the last couple of days -- no message left. If they won't leave a message, then I****ume they're not serious about wanting to talk to me.
They have called several times. If we let it go to answer ma****e, they **** up. If we answer they also **** up.
They called several times and never left us a message, then they called at the end of the week and left a recorded message stating they are SDG&E and have called several times and needed to reach us about our bill and to please pay it. We are not late and it was not even due for another 10 days. Weird.
